![]() With the SOE Fan Faire around the corner people are already making exciting plans for Las Vegas. Unless you are Coyote you'll probably want to see more than the hotel bar, so what is there to do? What can you expect? I tracked down some veteran travelers and dug up all sorts of handy information about where the events will take place. "If you've never been to Vegas it's important to understand the environment you'll be in. While there are climate controlled casinos every 5 feet, just remember the city is in the desert. The monthly average temperature for August is 104 degrees, and don't let anyone try and pass off that "dry heat" line either, that is just hot. This means very light summer clothes, or "new clothes" if you are from Canada. " Don't be unprepared, read on... What to do at SOE Fan Faire

The In-n-Out "offical" menu is this Double-Double Cheese Burger Hambuger Fries Soda Milkshake The just part of the Secret Menu 3x3, 4x4, Animal Style, Double Meat, Protein Style, Grilled Cheese. |

![]() Animal Style = Grilled onions & grilled spicy mustard. The Horchata is served across Tropicana at a little place called Tacos Mexico, while the place doesn't look like much it has some really great authentic Mexican food. I currently live in Vegas so have a little advantage on the local happenings.

dont forget to get your fries animal style! And i prefer a 3x3 to a double double (three patties and cheeses as opposed to just two) did you know you can get as many patties/cheese as you want? i know a guy who actually got a 20x20. they stacked it sideways in a tray, lol. of course he couldnt finish it but it was still awesome. man this thread has made me hungry...

Ahhhh I'm liking the sound of Animal Style...at least the spicy mustard part. There will be no Horchata unless dares/bets are being made. Foul....FOUL stuff. If Coyote can't drink it, something is seriously wrong with it.

I tried In-N-Out the last time I lived out here. I ate at the restaurant in Fullerton just East of the 57 FWY. I was not impressed. That was 1996. Perhaps they had a bad day? I'll have to investigate again...

Had the best chicken noodle soup I ever had with huge chunks of chicken in it. If I found me a place like that around where I live I would be broke. ![]()

There is also a Grilled Cheese Animal Style (grilled onions are added).and if your a Vegan you can go without the cheese. |

![]() In-N-Out burgers are to West Coasters what White Castle burgers are to East Coasters -- except In-N-Out burgers actually taste good! ps. Anyone remember the days of the original In-N-Out Burger bumper sticker that people used to creatively remove the "B" and last "R" (of Burger) to spell something . . . suggestive? pps. Someday, In-N-Out Burger (and Trader Joes) will make it as far east as Colorado. Someday. |

![]() I had horchata at the airport there.. actually there and LAX. Take the tram to the Hilton for Star Trek the Experiance. I recommend the Warp Core Breaches and a friend to help. Circus Circus supposidly has some amusement park rides now. When we were there this past December, we could not find it. The 4 Queens on Freedmont has the cheapest Black Jack tables. New York, New York actually has some decent delis and pizza joints inside.. and a Coyote Ugly bar.. and a roller coaster. Excalibur has a Medieval Times-type show. Was pretty good, their 24 hour restaurant was convienent. Treasure Island has their outdoor pirate show at various times during the day. The MGM Grand has LIONS! Sooo cool. IHOP! Jack in the Box!! The Taxi drivers sometimes have attitudes. The Volcano in front of the Mirage is really cool at night. And the water show in front of the Bellagio is cool too at night. Watch out for the [Removed for Content] card guys! You can be a pain and take some and try to give them back later. Too funny. Mandalay Bay has a neat aquarium attraction. Head to the Stratosphere for some fun rides like the Big Shot. The Sahara has a cyber speedway. Anyway.. lots and lots to do when you aren't causing shenanigans at the Fan Faire. http://www.vegas.com/attractions/

Hehe makes me wonder what it would've been like if Tim's had been bought up by In-N-Out instead of Wendy's.... Ordering a Double Double with a Double Double.

So for lunch today I had a Double Double Animal Style, fries, coke, and a chocolate shake. The fries were blah, the shake was pedestrian, and the burger was fine. I won't drive extra miles to eat there, but it's better than the arches.

I've never had one of their larger burgers, but double doubles work for me. Unfortunately I live in a new development here in vegas, so I have Jack in the Box or McDonalds ![]() |
