Status items with the new expantion

A friend told me today that status items will no longer count toward guild exp in the expantion coming out in nov. She read something in a dev interview about it. Does anyone know for sure if that is true or not. I have a bunch i have been saving up (we are already guild lvl 60) and am just wondering if it is worth saving them for Nov or just turn them in now.

I don't think it's possible for them to not count towards guild XP. They just raise them up in such minicule amounts, that after level 60 they probably wont be noticable.
