I have a coercer and I can cast spells just fine when my enemy is in melee range. I am also not aware that Conj/Necro get all their spells disabled (like ranger) when anyone gets into melee range with them... are you trying to BS me?

mine entire guild are leaving eq2....WHY??....ROFL !!!......cause as u mentioned in OP they have nerfed the game way to much and in the wrong places....

 WAIT!..i got an idea!!!.... why not make druids able to track and remove all other classes so everyone can b a ward/fury THATS FUN!!!

 oh and ya grats to our new tanks the wiz/lock one !! yay!!! its just stupid to let noob treasured wearing, whining, weekend pvping idiots dictate the game play !! im a necro and i have killed all classes and all titles its not about that eq2 pre GU 36 was that increadibly un balanced its about idiots that cant play and only complain! thanks to those morons loads of peeps are or are planning to quit this game.,... have  fun u asswipes!

 at the same time i wanna say thanks for a great time  untill now hope we will play with and against eachother in some other on-line game

 peace out Nagafen and eq2

lol.. nice first post. ------------------------ Yes, give druids tracking, because that makes sense. Druids have been brought down quite a bit with this update, so your attempt to make them look overpowered... not so good. Not like druids get stealth, tracking, evac, tier 1/2 dps, poisons, and chain armor... SMILEY And the comment about wiz/lock tanks.. I'm assuming you mean manashield. Try reading the description of that AA before you jump to conclusions. Manashield drains their power so must be used wisely. Clothies are finally given a chance in PvP and you quit the game? Cry: Oh no, a sorcerer can survive my 5 second flurry of damage now, I'm quitting EQ2 and taking my guild with me. Since update, much more balance to the game. Sure there are few things here and there, but much better than before. I'm sure SOE is aware of the few things that need addressed and will fix them asap. The sky is not falling.

Warlocks are OP now, and need nerfing. Their manashield doesn't drain their power quickly enough, and lasts too long.  Manashield now acts as an unbreakable ward by any one person, thereby making them unbeatable in a solo fight.  Nerf manashield.

The dev's need to understand nerfing things cause people to leave.  It may be harder to buff some classes without nerfing anyone for balance, but you will keep more of your subscribers.  I can understand changing one or two things for 'balance', but this last update was handled poorly.  I know there were better options to making the game more fun for all.  Unfortunately the dev's took the easy way you out and listened to the whiners (most of which spent more time writing wank posts and less time playing).

Each change has made this game more and more of a ghost town.  If you feel I am wrong that is fine, but please explain why they had to merge the already small amount of PvP servers?  You cannot argue with the facts (well you can, but then you're just a [Removed for Content]). SMILEY

Game has gone to the wankers and is going downhill fast. SMILEY

I think the devs/accountants know a lot more about who leaves and when than you or I do. If nerfs made people leave they would be made aware of it by their managers very quickly indeed, and in very clear terms.. like "dont lose us subscribers or you will be fired"

News flash.  Rangers are supposed to be tough against squishy opponents.  All scouts are tbh.  Its sorta like what they are supposed to do and all.

With that said, my t4 lock does pretty good against some scouts.  Granted I dont beat them 8 out of 10 times or nothing.  Tbh I dont usually do alot of solo PvP with my lock because its not really a solo pvp class.  It can be decent, but I prefer grouping with him so I can really maximize his potential.

If killing scouts is important to you, then roll a brawler or sk or something else.  You cant have everything, im sure your squishy would hand my zerker his [I cannot control my vocabulary] on a cold plate.  Thats the way the game works bud.

ok junior your t4 lock isn't anywhere near a t7 necro so your comparison is flat out null. Stating it should be optional to reroll a different boring class to play to be effective is jsut wrong, then with that theory in mind, where is my discounted price per month for playing a useless class? Obviously SOE intended all classes to have a CHANCE in pvp, which you junior t4 "IthinkIhaveaclue" ....don't have a t7 caster class, and have no arguement here at all.  Killing scouts is not the point here, living long enough to locate and try to defend is the issue, and now that scouts cannot take a summoner down in 2 seconds every time its a bit more balanced, but tbh its still not enough, i'd actually love a chance to see a ranger drop below 50% health b4 i die for a change.

yes you are wrong, a necro cannot get a spell to land for almost 90% of fights, and then if it does it requires TIME to tick, this means you have well over 10 seconds to beat the everlivingshit out of a necro b4 the one dot even cycles you to 80% health.  Now, your firing all your CA's into me at the same time or [Removed for Content] close, so this means im perma stunned cannot cast one thing, maybe ill get a fear cast off that throws up a big fat RESIST note above your head.  Hell if i get into melee range with you im at 5% health since you just dropped 6 CA's into me while i was scrambling to get into melee range, so go whine some more about your uneducated proposals of just how a dot class is way OP to a ranger.  Hell 98% the time my pet can't even get into melee range with a ranger b4 im dead.  So your accusations are 500% incorrect.  Read the log from the ranger vs necro at melee ranged fight i posted, last i remember piercing and crushing dmg occur at melee range not ranged.  Yet i got in a 867 nuke the whole 4 seconds of the fight.

Dont you think it would be overpowered if you were able to keep your enemy exactly where you want them each and every fight with nothing they can do about it?  You guys still have plenty of DPS to burn down players in just a few seconds.  Long before they can even get to you if you get the drop on them.   If you dont, you can run away at upwards of 60+ out of combat speed.

Cry me a river, you just want to be unstoppable, and unbeatable instead of actually working for your kills.

No big loss dude, he's prolly one those folks who uses the aimbots in first person shooters.  Claiming a necro can kill all classes solo is obsurd, as is this person.  The game wasn't set to easymode to him now for his ranger most likely and he's off to another game where a hack or exploit will be his tool to claim godliness.

/agree Yes folks, skill and strategy. Those skilled players that have always been rolled by non-skilled players on easymode, now have a chance to shine. Thank you SOE, you could have done nothing at all, but instead you are improving the game for your 5% of players that are on PvP servers. Cheaper and easier way out would have been to do nothing at all. Thanks for your support of our servers. /cough Reverse the Cure Nerf /cough  =p

What us rangers are saying is without those abilities we can not attack.  That means that our attack buttons are red and cannot be used.  Mages on the other hand can cast they just get interupted frequently, which if you ask me also needs to be changed.  If your focus is maxed out and often times its buffed over the max I think you should get interupted by auto attack maybe once in every 10 attacks or higher.  Now that doesn't count if the person uses a stun attack or a stifle, those should interupt you every time unless you have the necessary potions.  You'd be upset too if you had a min. range to cast from and it was almost impossible to keep that distance which allowed you to attack.

And I love your 60+ OOC speed comment.  First its WHA WHA they can sprint away real fast, well now because of your crying we have a very high OOC run speed.  Cry some more and maybe they'll give us the ability to fly away like superman.  If we are fighting we have to wait 30 sec. to break combat and our run speed to kick in.  If you can't' kill a ranger in 30 seconds, with no in combat run speed, and him not attacking becuase he's trying to break combat then he deserves to get away!

 Wow!  A T7 ranger that doesn't know what Power of Marr is?  Do your Claymore qeust.  That's the proc of the quest reward.  IMO it's the best weapon choice for a ranger in the game right now.

Warlocks are OP now, and need nerfing. Their manashield doesn't drain their power quickly enough, and lasts too long.  Manashield now acts as an unbreakable ward by any one person, thereby making them unbeatable in a solo fight.  Nerf manashield.
Warlocks are far from overpowered.  Manashield can be dispelled, thats if you dont kill them before they can cast it.  Not every fight should be won by brute force, try actually using strategy, and skill.

Nope.  Rangers haven't been given the abiity to dispel.

Yet.

Keep it from being casted?  No argument there, if we can get it interrrupted before its cast.  the point is that once its cast, you effectively have bullet proofed yourself.

I have a coercer and I can cast spells just fine when my enemy is in melee range. I am also not aware that Conj/Necro get all their spells disabled (like ranger) when anyone gets into melee range with them... are you trying to BS me?

yes you are wrong, a necro cannot get a spell to land for almost 90% of fights, and then if it does it requires TIME to tick, this means you have well over 10 seconds to beat the [I cannot control my vocabulary] out of a necro b4 the one dot even cycles you to 80% health.  Now, your firing all your CA's into me at the same time or [I cannot control my vocabulary] close, so this means im perma stunned cannot cast one thing, maybe ill get a fear cast off that throws up a big fat RESIST note above your head.  Hell if i get into melee range with you im at 5% health since you just dropped 6 CA's into me while i was scrambling to get into melee range, so go whine some more about your uneducated proposals of just how a dot class is way OP to a ranger.  Hell 98% the time my pet can't even get into melee range with a ranger b4 im dead.  So your accusations are 500% incorrect.  Read the log from the ranger vs necro at melee ranged fight i posted, last i remember piercing and crushing dmg occur at melee range not ranged.  Yet i got in a 867 nuke the whole 4 seconds of the fight.

And btw if you plan on whining about interrupts next thing, FYI rangers spells are much more easily interrupted than any other casting class because unlike mages we do not have any focus buffs. Usually a single fart is enough to interrupt any skill we cast. And if there's exile swashy with extension, lol that's like my worst nightmare, every single CA is interrupted SMILEY

and out of the 100's of posts we summoner post we get the same bs from rangers.....you guys claim your unable to attack at melee range yet a autoattack ranger can take me down in 4 seconds. So b4 u spout more crapfrom your inexperience of summoners, play one and realize rangers have it easy STILL.  Wha Wha Wha, ic ant do 1k dps from 15 meters out.....i have to think about how to play now. I might be on even grounds now with another player insterad of myself being a 1 shot wonder class. Go back to WoW dude your obviously only on a pvp server to gank since you won't take a week toe ven try to learn your class as its made to be now.  We all have to adpat but you refuse to, your solution is to come in the fourms and whine about how you cannot take a mage down now in 2 seconds.  And no you won't get any apaologies from me, i never got one from the exploits/hackers in the game and funny how all of them were usually rangers, who would throw all the CA's they can into 1 macro and claim godliness.  As for interupts, get a clue dude, you have no idea, try casting a 3 seconds cast spell that casts bar rolls for 10 seconds and once it does go off it is resisted, then you fall over dead, cause some ranger jsut dropped 6 ca's into you in 2 seconds.   How do you propose a necro interupt your casts?  Only one way, its out tank pet bouncing you with a knockback that is on a 1 min recast timer. As for other stuff, you just fail to see where the problem is, and that no amount of learing and skill will make our CAs and autoattack NOT to disable in melee range. Which is exactly what makes ranger broken. Not the damage nerf (never ever compained about damage nerf because I also hate to die to exile rangers as well - takes them 3 sec preGU36 if they get to jump on me, seems like my chain is nothing more than paper).

No need to be a prophet to say what happens with rangers after GU36. No more fair fights, just shooting from unreachable places - or running away in any other scenario. I can't wait to see first posts about this.

Well, flat out healers got screwed big time by this update.  The vast majority of people playing on the test server gave /feedback that the heal and cure nerfs went too far and SOE flat out ignored the feedback to placate the people whining on the forums.  People who hadn't even tested.  People who just looked at the fact that sniper shot, fusion, ice commet, harm touch, and decap were all being drastically cut and whined that it would take longer than 2 seconds to kill a healer now so nerf heals to keep everything the same as it is now.

After playing a bit with the changes on live, the survivability of everyone that used to depend on healers just went way down.  Fights got a lot shorter despite the claim that things were going to get better/longer when the changes went live.  A lot of healers are out right quitting because, well, they want to heal and they can't.  Finding healers for PVP or even instance grinding got a lot harder, though scouts and dps mages are a dime a dozen.  For some reason, tanks are still rare in upper tiers though zerkers and guards got a big boost.

Ok i can see where you are coming from, but to actually feel for you, I  cannot, after almost a year and half of dieing in 2seconds to rangers, your cries just cannot be justified.  I will say one thing though, fine if you cannot do jack in melee range, we can change that back real easy for ya, BUT now you are required to stand up and agree that summoners have it way worse.  Do you know how it feels to be rolling in ANY zone and just flat out go from 100% to the rez screen in a split secon, EVERYDAY?  No you don't unless you play a class with zero detection or defense you will never know that pain.  Now the devs are somewhat seeing this and made an attempt to fix it so we can at least live a few seconds b4 the inevitable happens.  I posted a few pages back a in combat melee range fight with a ranger, piercing and blunt dmg is done in melee range, and in the 4 seconds fight i got 1 cast off for 867 dmg.  That is the normal fight necro's see.  So now you tell me just what part of you cannot kill a necro your'e seeing cause we are pretty much unable to see your point of view.  4 seconds and a ranger chops down 6k hp,s in the same 4 seconds the necro and pet range about 1k dmg total.  I fail to see your side of the battle here.  You get stealth, tracking, and a decent runspeed even though it was a bit nerfed...I get a robe that tears to shreds instantly and fall to dead b4 i can blink.  I again do not see your side as valid after seeing this all year and half long. This is in groups with 2 healers, noone can heal that burst dps.  This would simply require a healer to maintain a heal on me 24-7, and thats just not valid in eq2.  You rangers always claim we need to use totems to see stealth.  Well 2 troubles with that idea....one i ALWAYS use them, until of course a ranger drops me in a split second and loots them from me since those are the only droppables you will find on me in the wild.  Or #2 they dont give us vision in EVERY point of view at all times, so it does not effectively let us know when someone is stalking us unless we just happen to get lucky and glance to notice somthing unusual.  Even though if we do sight you, we fall dead b4 our pets can even get into melee range, or the caster pet gets one spell off.  If im lucky ill get a rare fear out and land it long enough to run like a little [Removed for Content], but it prolongs the death cause you guys have runspeeds, we do not.  I can go on and on, of what pains a summoner has, but you all should already know that....since we are by far the easiest prey in eq2. We can't heal, we can't ward, we can cast maybe a dot or root or fear but all of our tactics require a good deal of TIME to be productive, and when we die in just a few seconds, its just not possible to be effective.
