I am new to EQII and bought the classic edition, and had a few questions about expansions and adventure packs. First off, are any free at the moment? And if so, would they have already been downloaded when all the other updates were? Regardless, is there an all in one package I can purchase and get all the expansions and all the adventure packs, or something close to that? If so, can I use that with my pre-existing EQII account, from a "classic" version of the game. Thanks in advance.

There are currently 3 expansions (Desert of Flames, Kingdom of Sky, Echoes of Faydwer) with a 4th coming out in November (Rise of Kunark.)  There are also 3 adventure packs (The Bloodline Chronicles, The Splitpaw Saga, The Fallen Dynasty.)  The adventure packs are free if you pay for the station access (though, once you drop it, you lose access to them.)

They probably will not have been downloaded.  You need to select them on the patcher to download them (I think it's optional content, or advanced.  Something like that.  I'm not in front of my PC to check.)

There is no all in one package for everything, but you can pick up a copy of Echoes of Faydwer, and that will come with the previous expansions (presumably, Rise of Kunark will come the same way in November.)  Please note, that you only get access to all the expansions with EoF if you purchase a box copy from the store (aka Best Buy.)  If you digital download it (buy it directly from Sony's Station Store) then you do not get the other expansions.   Yes, you can add this to your existing account and upgrade it to have all the expansions.

You could also do the Direct2Drive purchase of EoF that contains all the previous xpaks. That might be easier than finding the boxed version of EoF. Either way, the adventure packs are purchased separately unless you have a station pass as Nolrog stated.

Unless they changed the download, the expansions only come when purchasing EOF in the retail box.  My apologies if I have missed the announcement saying otherwise.
