Sorry you had to wait for the /assist but I'm glad you managed to post chapter.

I actually find writting the Militia parts a bit harder then other scenes. Either writers are familiar with the military culture and risk sounding like 'Tom Clancy in Norrath' or the writer doesn't have the background in the language/ritual of the military & the story sounds 'just off' to the readers who have served. I think you did a fantastic job describing how a non-Militiaman would see the troopers' interaction, personal and professional. It can be quite difficult to use just enough modern description of so folks understand what you are describing and still not remove the action from the world of Norrath. Bravo.

My wife (sorry, the Good Evil Queen) says I write like an episode of LOST... never really answering anything, but somehow making my readers want more... SMILEY

I don't know what she's talking about. I answer plenty. It's not my fault that I have a talent for cliffhanger endings...

I believe my look was either me raising my eyebrow or holding a smirk on my face. If I make ANY kind of facial expression when I'm reading, it's that good.

Ha yah the forums are a bit screwy.

Yah that would suck, i kinda get that sometimes. I start writing stories during classes (i get really bored in highschool). Not all of them fantasy either. There are some i like but then i have to do actual work and i cant finish the stories SMILEY . So they live in my head.

But i cant wait for your other book

I have to say, she is my favorite character so far. I find myself relating to her more than the others. Please PLEASE don't kill this one off. There's a sense of realism about her pertaining to me. That's exactly how I would react if that were me in her place.

I feel the same way. I actually dislike Erudites in EQII, mainly because they took out the football head look, but I like this girl.
