I've recently redecorated our guild tavern here on Antonia Bayle, and wanted to show it off here on the forums.  You can find the Spider at 4 Bayle Court, under Brosha.  On with the tour!
Here we have the front room bar.  We used to have stairs made of shelves that people used to get over the railing and onto the chillout area on top of the bar, but they kept getting in the way, so I built a little bridge instead.

A little stage for singing and dancing.  The previous stage was built with five or six ash bookcases, but the one rounded ironwood counter is much better for keeping the item count down.

Here's another view of the bar.    I added a little extension to this corner to make running around up here a bit easier.     Closeup of the bridge.     When building this, I made a platform on top of the bar with rough linen rugs.  Then I placed down the quilts, the table, and the pillows.  Finally, I went underneath and carefully removed the linen rugs.  The pillows keep folks from dropping through the quilts to the bar below.  I love rough linen rugs.  They look a bit garish to me, but they sure come in handy for placement art!     I cleaned out our alcove and set up this simple arrangement.     Finally, we have my latest pride n' joy, the upstairs bar.  This big beauty is built on a platform of eighteen intricate oak tables!
The luminous pillars are azurite tall entwined sculptures, placed on the dirt beneath the tables.  The corners of the tables left gaps, and I took advantage by using the gaps to place the sculptures after the platform was already up.  Worked out well, I think.  There are four tin sconces built up into the ceiling of the bar, to give the impression that the pillars are illuminating the bar.

We serve anything from tea to the finest Dwarven stout!

...As well as a selection of fine vintage wines!  The bottles are a no-trade house item reward that a few guildies have donated.  It's from the quest Far, Far Away Far Pelican.
Each of the tables in the lower area features an ornate cobalt table lamp for ambiance.  Of course, a bar isn't any good without patrons!  We gather at the Spider every Tuesday night.  All kinds of folks show up!  Here's our guildleader, Captain Spindel, tending bar.  Gnomish spirits on the rocks, please!  And here's the Captain's girl, Tosta, breaking in our new bar with a dance!Hope you enjoyed the tour.  If you're on AB, please drop by the Spider for our weekly tavern night!  We'd love to see ya.  That's South Qeynos, 4 Bayle Court, under Brosha.  7PM CST.Come and see the bar in person!

Tock hehe - I just came here to repost our rennovations too.  Brilliant minds and all that.  SMILEY  The place looks AMAZING.  I can't even imagine the work that went into it.  I'll try to come out next week!

Now that's a bar that makes me want to become a regular customer, hehe!

It's amazing, especially your clever bar-top lounge area!  The corner extension's a clever idea, too.

Another great job!  I particularly love the top bar under the skylights, very nice indeed!  Hopefully I'll get a chance to stop by again some time.

That is really super.  I love the lounging area, the one vase reminds me of a hooka pipe.  SMILEY   The top room bar is quite beautiful with the lighting.   I only wish the pelican quest were repeatable.  I'd love to have a wine collection in my provisioner's house. Of course, the dev's could give us a carpenter made 'wine bottle'.  SMILEY

Tock, that looks awesome!!  I have actually heard of your RP nights and thought about coming, but I just hadn't yet!  (Part of my reason was a super bad computer that lagged horribly in many houses, but it's all nice and upgraded now!!)

Awesome work!!

Yes, Tock is our guild's resident crafting god SMILEY. The Spider also has a kitchen area, but Tock posted it somewhere in another thread (about kitchens, who'd have thought it!). I'm very sure that all the design was done soley by Tock himself, I know I've tried to offer help once or twice. Feel free to come round on the tavern nights and have a look around.

Heavens Above Tock - the Spider looks amazing!  Drakael and I will have to try to make it to the tavern soon so we can check it out ourselves.  What an amazing amount of work and detail.
