I have updated the list again. Thanks all for your great ideas! Amitee, I didn't add your comment about hanging chandeliers properly, as that's more of a bug issue. Tokamak, coffin is under the torture category. It was there, really!

I think this would be a really cool way to reward Collectors of Collections. After 500 Collection quests completed = Title " Hunter of Collections " and reward [ House Item ] " ? " *laughs* |

![]() Wonderful ideas all. A few more things I would like to see. I would like to be able to rotate our trophies. ALL of them have the handle on the left side and the weapon portion on the right. I would like to be able to change the direction to even mount them vertically or diagonally. Or even better, to put them on a table. I would also like it if some of the armor and shield items could be mounted on the wall. It would be nice if some of the more difficult quested armor pieces could become armor displays in the home the same way that weapons are. Or a full suit of armor could possible stand up. We also need some bottles. We have ale casks and wine racks, but no wine bottles. I wonder if we couldn't collect vintages even....might be an entertaining quest line. I would like more mirrors. We really only have the one HUGE mirror, that isn't really a mirror, and the desk one and one other small one. It would be nice to have one that is a bit more ornate and of medium size. I love candles and candlabras so I would love to see more of those. I know floor screens have been mentioned, but I would love to see at least one that is open cutwork, kind of like the images in MajDul that show up when you zone in. Things for the wall other than paintings or weapons. I know sculpture was mentioned, but relief scuplture for the walls would be nice. Or maybe some herb bundles, ivy garlands, baskets etc... I also think it would be nice if there was some form of collection that could be displayed. Like a butterfly collection or bugs or something. Maybe you could quest for the shadow box and then collect the items or something. and then I would really like more items for table tops. Just interesting oddments of the kind that an adventurer would collect. Interesting little table sculptures like a carved tooth, or an ornate purfume bottle, an hour glass or paperweight etc.... Bookends |

![]() OK- I thought of a couple more things I think would be really great is if you could register your house for touring. It would be great if you could instantly see the list of those people who WANT strangers to come in and look around their homes. Sometimes I like to enter the big homes to see all the cool stuff, but often these people just have the stuff strewn everywhere. It's nice to see the ones that have taken the time to decorate. What would be even better if there could be a contest of some kind where people vote on the best homes in various categories. I think that would encourage more people to actually decorate their homes instead of keep them as ware houses. One other thing that I think would be really cool is if you could have some kind of self-portrait. Maybe it could be taken from your paperdoll shot or something, or maybe just from shoulders up. Maybe you have to quest for it and then go for a sitting or something. and lastly, something others have mentioned before, but I didn't see it on the list A guest book of some kind that people who visit can sign and leave comments. |

![]() I love this!!! I am all for each of these items I have seen. My most recent desire though is a COUCH! I just want a couch! HAHA I would also love it if we could "turn off" some of our things in the house. I have the skellie thing that makes a zombie pop up in my house...keep meaning to get rid of it cause the darned thing scares the heck out of me everytime! LOL Wall colors...carpet...couch...wow..I'd be in heaven! |

![]() OMG, fantastic wish list , all u guys have posted is right on... My biggest wish is windows , followed by more types of plants. But most definitely windows. I understand a house to be a mini instanced but does it have to be a dungeon ( unless someone is leaning towards that design?)?? There are beautiful stuff in the game already, if we could just get our hands/paws/claws in it. |

Gosh, these housing wish list's ideas are great. I hope someone at SOE is making note of some of them. Some of the ideas seem like they really should have already been done - like being able to click on an item and see who the owner is or being able to view an item before you buy it without having to go to a 3rd party web site and look it up. And some sort of "Brick" or "Building Block" because there has been so much creativity with what they've given us - I think it should be encouraged.

those "torture coffin" is known as AKA "Iron Maiden" used by spanish inquisitors. not going details on this one, but it got 4 inches long spikes, once the victim died, and the bottom has the release latch to drop the corpses to dumping pit below.

Hmmm, can't you rotate the L&L reward items with the mouse wheel like any other item?

![]() This may seem silly, but since I just finally bough a manor and am getting started decorating it, I would like to see status purchasable NPCs. Some could even have animations. Wouldn't it be cool to go in someones house and find an NPC with the cooking tradeskill animation toiling over a Halasian Boiling Pot. How about walking into someone's home and being greeted by two guards at the door, or seeing a butler roaming around the house. I think it would be neat if our houses seemed more alive with things other than just pets.

It would open up a lot of creative possibilities. You could then display swords or spears crossed over one another, or put spears on either side of a doorway, or diagonally meeting at the top across a doorway etc... It would also be really great if we could put the weapons on tables. Some of the knives and such could be laid on on a table in a torture chamber, or a knife could be used in a kitchen, or something like that. |

![]() Great list so far! I just browsed through it quickly so these might have been mentioned: Being able to name your homes. When people click "Visit", instead of seeing a list of player names, you see a list that looks like this: Katis' Eatery, The Crimson Tiger Inn, Joe's Dental Office, Liang's Furniture Store, etc.. Being able to interact with our furniture: Lie in the bed, sit in a chair. |

![]() Great Wish List I'd like to expound on the NPC's in a house, lets see we can have crafting stations, mail boxes, altars, and broker boards, I would think npc vendors that sell items like tradeskill fuels wouldn't be too hard to implement. Also being able to outfit the npcs, like in SWG would be nice, as well as create more business for tradeskillers The clipboard is useless in a house for tradeskill quests, as you still have to run to a npc in TS instances to get the intial quest. for items not sure if these have been mentioned but full suits of armor would be nice. since we have animations for mounts, could we get animations for sitting in a chair? not sure how hard coding is on that but since the sitting models for all races are already in game dont see as it would take much tweaking. As I said great wish list and would be very happy with even a tenth of what is on it. Nicely done |

if SOE doesn't want to increase the amount of counted/status items a house can hold, then perhaps all L&L and other books could be non-counted items. I would suggest all the holiday items like presents, bows, and snow globes be non-counted as well. I'll go even further, if it doesn't provide status, it should not be counted against the house total.

![]() I know someone had already asked for a 'Pool Table' but I thought to mention that there is one in Nek Castle if some were not aware of that. There is actually a few things in Nek castle that can be made into house item if possible Also thought to mention that EL and Rivervale are the ole home the halflings more so then the gnomes so add halflings in your orignal wish list under the furniture in Rivervale how about doors and doorways? since some want to add upper rooms and what not? Now as for some request's I seen are pretty much way out there like for instanced let's take bed spreads for starters, how many beds are there in the game to make them for each bed is little much for any real designer and also not mention you was wanting differrent styles. Now I can see maybe leaving the beds spreads the same but maybe adding feature to change the color of them for even the 'Christamas tree' and the fireplaces's has a feature to change them so not so hard to do and request. I am saying this in request and not trying to put down your request but this idea I propose is more doable, ok? I would like to request all the stuff in the Children's room in 'Unrest' espeically the crib, I might add is a 'Baby' that crawls around the house with nanny/maid running around to make sure it don't climb stairs would be cool. I was thinking it could be vet's rewards or even as item that be claimed in a expansion with option to pick what race you want. perhaps even 3 different styles like a newborn one, crawling one and toddler one. Maybe add this too as a option is when picking race maybe have option to pick halfbreeds of like a dark elf/woodelf or high elf/ barbarian....but it needs to be limited for some races can't have mixed children due the fact of way different DNA like lizzards or cats and rats and not to mention the new race coming out in next expansion as well |

![]() Don't forget those Kerrian dolls you keep finding as loot. I love all the suggestions. I want : to lie in beds and sit in chairs have something like a closet to hold 'fun' clothes be able to rotate the L&L goodies preview options to see what something looks like before you buy (would like this with armor too where you would see how stats affect you before you attune) {off subject I know} More Art!!! The ability to make/buy fae furniture. Bigger rugs! Furniture sets. The ability to hire out as a decorator. I love decorating houses. More and varied decro options (with preview). Ok I realize I'm restating what has been said before....just add, it was a well thought out list and I say GET ON IT SONY!!

![]() These are some great ideas. I just glanced through everyone's posts, so don't know if any of this has been suggested already. Number 1 wish: WINDOWS IN KELETHIN HOMES!!!! I mean they are children of nature, and they live in totally enclosed homes with no outside light or anything. I'd like to be able to RP opening a window to let in fresh air and sunshine! Other things I'd like to see: Being able to interact with chairs and beds, to sit and lay down. (I saw this mentioned once or twice, but just reinforcing it!!) I love the idea of having an NPC in your house. Go butler! I would really like to be able to put a pet in a room and have it STAY in THAT room. (Same thing should apply to NPCs if they get added.) Being able to add doors would be awesome. Make the clipboards more useful for doing crafting writs. Add a LOT more trinkets and other SMALL items that can be used for decoration. Some of those bookshelves have tiny shelves and very little will fit on them. Case in point: Tall Cedar Bookshelf. I like the look of it, but very little fits in the cubby holes. I suppose you could change the shelves, but I'd rather have stuff to display in each of those little sections. Maybe some statuettes, trinkets, etc. You would probably want to increase the limit on number of items so that you can fit more of these into a house. |

![]() Hiii a place to send our wishlist for Christmas First of all, thanks for what exists already. so, my letter to Daddy Lucain :p : - items attached to our tradeskill (by the mean of quests ?) (ie : chef's hat for provisioner, inkstand for sage, "carry test tubes" for alchemist, ... ; "diabolic" items for necro like skulls, ). Factions and faction items are great ideas but honestly, it's long to obtain for somebody who wants to benefit from all aspects of EQ2 like raid, quests, craft, reroll, ... - "timelines-item" in order to obtain range of coordinated pieces of furniture or items (like Fallen Dynasty). ( ie : "room timeline" : bed, bedside table, lamp, statue, ... "tavern timeline" : bar, chair, keg, shelf (I hope it's the word) with jug and glasses, ... Etc etc) - or thematic items in order to customize our house ("diabolic" and torture items for the darkside, ...) - plants ! plants ! plants ! The remainder has already been evoked (especially little items). But there's already some existing graphisms My 2 cents ^^ |

I skimmed, I'm a skimmer, everything but didn't seem to see either of the things I'd most like with housing recently. 1) ability to sell your house, furnishings and all, to a specific player for any amount of coin you wish; IE you can even give it away of you like. (so if I want a different one of my own characters to own the house, for whatever reason, I can just do a simple ownership switch so long as the character being given/sold the house is the same faction residence as the seller) 2) ability to set certain characters up with co-ownership access to your house which allows said characters to access your house vault and possible broker displays to add/remove items. (for alts whom I'd like to have access to the house vault for crafting and I can stick items on the broker directly from the character I obtained it on without having to go through an item shuffle to get it to my seller char since several of my alts share accommodations)

Casting my vote for a larger item limit! Sitting on a chair would be nice, as would lying down (imagines 'sitting' at her dining room table, and *gasp* using eat and drink emotes!) Plants Someone mentioned bedspreads, please! I had to give up the ones I made from rugs because I was at my item limit. The bed from Shin is beautiful, but the comforter is beyond boring. Mmmm, couches...

![]() I had gone around various zones since EoF started and before like Isle of Mara and older zones. I kept in mind many things I would be very happy to have in my carpentry recipe book. So many potentials that still aren't available to us players. Got a list of stuff that are around so far (plus some used in recipes now) and a few already mentioned in pervious posts:
I'm sure I've missed some more places and didn't list them. Rest of furniture that are in our carpenter's recipe books aren't very organized, so to say, and I would love it to have those reorganized into sets so that I don't have to go to a website to look them up.
