Okay so I don't have a 'leet' lvl 70 assassin with all fabled gear and all Masters CA and skills, and tons of AA's. lol My assassin is lvl 30 (bout to be 31) With...oh..maybe 20 AA's give or take.

Aaanyway -cough- lemme get to the point of this topic SMILEY I wanted to know what a good solid number for strength is around my level. 30-40ish. Is it as important at lower levels as it is at higher end raiding levels? I'm picking up better gear as I go along but (and I am so ashamed to admit this) I still have a few 10-15ish pieces I haven't replaced yet. I don't see the point in buying the best gear you can get at lvl 30 when you level so fast that you'll outgrow said gear in a few days (or hours).

I think I did manage to state my question somewhere in that mess of a post. lol. Something about strength?

I would push STR as high as you can and look for Adept III or better of your main backstabs and buffs/offensive stance as priorities. I did so and became very effective, and I am just 45 on my Assassin so not too far off of where you are. I think my STR comes in around 300 or so, but I have some pretty decent gear. Then I would examine the various casting order threads going in here to determine how to maximize what you have to best effect.

I wouldn't bother spending much cash on gear, at least not until you hit about 50-52.  Leveling slows down then, so it might be worth spending some money.  Handcrafted for your level would be fine.

I would however make sure you have decent weapons.  Mastercrafted of the right level are great, sometimes some nice legendary out there, and scouts are lucky in that if you have little cash there are several heritages that reward nice dw weapons.

I'm assuming you mostly group, not solo?

Grouping and duo'ing. Last night I grouped in Nek Castle and we ran through everything pretty quickly, but it was a decent group and our tank was very good. Still I did manage to hook aggro a few times and couln't shake it off. SMILEY  I did roll an adept assassin CA. (can't remember now which one it is) but I can't use it til I get to 33. Only 2 more levels. I made 31 last night.

I don't worry too much about armor. Last night I was asking my guild about two different pairs of pants that I'd gotten and which ones were better and they said I should be wearing chain as an assassin (the pants were cloth) and I told them I take what I can get. SMILEY
