Recently we've been discussing a new forum avatar floating around on the official forums. In this thread we've uncovered some truly fantastic secrets that could quite possibly put both a new race and new starting city (Neriak) into the live game very soon. As of now, this is mostly speculation; however, with all the evidence popping up I would imagine that the announcement is coming very soon. I want to personally invite you all to join us in our discussion that will hopefully lead to the next big discovery in Norrath.

Meh.   And, here I thought it was just someone messing around with photoshop to make a truely ugly Fae.

Seriously!  That looks more like someone was trying to make the fae hair "real" and only succeeded in making them look like they got zapped by a bug light ..

*shrug*

Neriak proper was below Foreign Quarter/Fallen Gate so ah have no idea what the Thexians are looking for out in Yapping Maze (unless it's clues to where some of the former residents went to after they fled)

Why can't the Arsai be Goth Fae? Why does the 'leaked' images simply be placeholders? There isn't really that much difference between the various Elf races

Finally got to play with the Shrouds in EQLive over the weekend, and the Fairie Tricksters look so cool, nothing like the Fairy Tricksters that float around GFay and imo slightly better than the Fae (although, when they move forward they look like they are getting ready to get mounted on a wall or about to be splattered against a windscreen: their arms are outstretched to sides)
