All shaman do, yes. Ours is a dark grey and black, the mystic's is a spirit wolf (ghost). The dog is granted by spending your first achievement point in the Kingdom of Sky tree.

Heh, lol... I always love the mid 20's defiler running around asking me where they get the wolf. Where did you buy him? When do I get that spell? ect.

Buy KoS and EoF... Both AA trees will help your gameplay a lot.

Even if your brand new and dont see yourself getting near T7 (lvl 60-70) anytime soon, you may wanna pickup KoS anyways.

That way you can start earning/placing KoS AA points very early in the game which will make getting the 100 total points alot easier.

You can get AAs without the expansion. I had 7 AA points before I picked up KoS. I could view the AA trees but couldn't spend any... I wouldn't advise a shaman to get KOS just for the AAs anyway, the EOF trees are much more "worth it" SMILEY

Didnt know that about earning AA's w/o the expansion.

KoS AA's arent that horrible. If I had to re-level my defiler I'd probably go down KoS-AGI line before anything else to help with soloing my way back up to 70.

I wouldn't suggest getting any expansion on it's own anymore. The EOF retail box that came out has all three expansions and even the original game, for the same price as any other expansion or original game on it's own, or any of the digital downloads.

So yeah.. go buy Echoes of Faydwer retail box. Get all three expansion basically for the price of one, get your monkey, plant, and clockwork house pets, and start getting AA's as of level 10. Also, you'll have access to EoF zones which start off at lvl 1... so you don't even have to wait for higher levels to play new stuff.

Honestly, it's no wonder they are only making the game retail with all the expansions now. If you are gonna upgrade, you might as well get everything.
