The storyline of EverQuest2 has progressed quite a bit from where we started out.  We have gone from our rag tag ways to journeying deep inside Splitpaw all the way to discovering the depths of Deathtoll.  I have to ask where we came from and where we are going what's going to happen? Are we progressing on our way to restoring the shattered lands to what they once were? Or are we moving ourselves ever so closer to our own destruction angering the gods?

Woah. That's some pretty deep thinking there. You'd better be careful or you'll find yourself at the bottom of a lake with cement shoes someday.

Is it a problem if people already have my shoe size memorized?

My personal opinion sticks with what i said a loooooong time ago, i believe that the old Norrath will never return, EVER!! i think some things will go back to the way they where but never again will Norrath be the same. Mortals know for a fact they can do more than was claimed by many Divines, so i think that Norrath will slowly recover, but i dont know if the Continent of Antonica/Tunaria will ever return, maybe if Velious freezes again.. that will be EQ3 hehe

Well here's something else to add into the mix.  Will we ever re establish what we once had? (Aka rebuild what was lost during the shattering and such).

Also, what awaits us in the near future of Norrath? Will we see another great cataclysm brought about by deities or by beings of Norrath itself? Right now The Swords of Destiny quest is proving insightful and it makes me wonder what will happen to Norrath.

It seems that one of the plot lines is heading into that nether-realm of the shadowmen.  They seem to be some kind of world-stealer.  I don't even think the gods can "sense" them or do anything to stop them.  I'm not sure I like the lore direction that is heading towards.

I don't think that Tunare can not sense that a part from her beloved Lesser Faydark is rotting away due to the influence of the Obelisk of Blight. maybe they are just ... underestimated SMILEY Well and there are no records that the other planets where the shadowmen anchored arent happy ... I guess they are now colorful planets full of happy people SMILEY *jumps around*

One thing i'm wondering is if we will see the return of Neriak.  The Thexians in there have made alot of progress and it seems that big boulder has been cut down.  From what i'm seeing they have whittled away atleast 1/2 of it.  Perhaps each time *RL here* the server goes down 1/8th of it is destroyed and eventually they'll make it through.  However if they manage to break through what will they find on the other side of the thing?

Another thing is will we see the great city of Felwithe aka New Tunaria returned to normal or is it beyond all hope?

No... i think hes pointing to his Avatar... the symbol of all the gods .. (minor and major) and what they represent as possible outcomes for Norrath.

I guess you missed the post above it where I said I would be the future of Felwithe, and then the next person said I was crazy... and then I proved that I "had evidence" that it would happen. And the point was to show the irony of how crazy I was >.> Some people have no fun! And I apoligise for blemishing one thread in the forum that you haven't even contributed to >.> Anyways... We all know that Josgar is going to be important in the future!

SMILEY I was kinda thinking the same thing myself. SMILEY

I will agree with Rezikai that Jindrack is probably pointing to the Avatar Symbol.  Perhaps what will happen is we will rediscover all the lost areas that weren't destroyed by the shattering.  Once we do that each god will claim a piece of it to call their own placing certain Norrathians under their protection.

I'm just wondering if Cusashorn's dream will come true and Freeport will be destroyed?

and your forgetting about Felwithe being saved!!!!!! Something that I think will happen, is that as more races leave, Qeynos and Freeport will shrink, and be more Like North Qeynos, South Qeynos, Eldar Grove, Qeynos Harbor, and one or two neighbor hoods. Maybe some zones would also be combined. (East Freeport, West Freeport, North Freeport, South Freeport, and one or two neighborhoods) All of the people in the affected zones would be teleported to one of the ones left over, and the missing zones could be  used for resources towards other zones.

no, Zeb says that after cheldrak gets owned. one of his prophecies.

Also I think plane of fear will be opened soon. As the newest registered expansion is kunark.

Kunark is inhabited by iksar , iksar deity is Cazic-Thule, Cazic-Thule's plain is that of fear. Nice thinking huh?

The fear portal is in the Feerrott... There goes that theory.

Why would Cazic want more than one entrance to his plane?

Actually using Kunark and the Feerrott portal to the plane of fear is not a bad idea, it bring more people into the feerrott hehe

Kind of like a front door back door type scenario.  His loyal followers could get access to the backdoor and straight to his royal room to worship him.  The front door aka The Feerrott portal would be the front door to thwart our efforts.

He can also let his worst enemies use the backdoor to directly kick his butt without having to deal with the rest of the crap in his plane.
