My main problem is the bag over my head, the Shovel I could live with but the bag is a little much, I am not that ugly.

Wow thats perfect example of what we don't need stupid vega hats! I just hope that they come to their senses and give us a Top hat like EVERY example of a Conjurer shows.

I have to agree - to me it looks like a hat for an evil class, not a good one. I immediately thought of the Psychologist/Bad Guy from Night Breed. Darnit...can't find a good screenshot from the movie. But at any rate...why in the world would any conjurer want to look like a slasher movie serial killer (think Leatherface, Michael Myers, Jason, etc)?

I would agree - a runed metal circlet would have been much preferred. When it comes time for me to do this quest on my conj, I'll keep /hidehelm ON, tyvm.

Talk about some crybaby's jeez . You see some crappy image of a side few of a Hooluhoo hat on an unofficial website and you get your panties in a bunch.

Talk about roleplaying drama queens. Wait till they come out. I remember the same thing when Warlock/necromancer hats came out. Someone falsly posted the hats backwards so the warlock hat was on a necro and everyone flipped out. History repeats itself and now everyone is biotching over some side view of a hat they cant even see very well. Its original and NO soe havnt been working on it since they were first announced and ours is going to be the best because we have waited the longest. If you dont like it... Dont get because SoE isnt going to change it. THey are trying to make our class look cool by adding in spell casting effects and now they give us a pritty cool looking unique helm and everyone whines before they even see the thing. plz everyone /whine off kk ty

/agree 100%. On top of that, the hat is the best looking of any class hats. Why would ANYONE want us to look like fairies like the Druids? IMO, we have something in line with the Warlock helm, except ALOT cooler.

Is there a post with pictures of all of the class hats? I can't imagine another class having a worse hat. I don' t think it would be too bad on a melee type character, but I am not sure how that hat works with a dress wearer.

I do agree that we must not rush around here. It is a unofficial picture that came from Warcry. It is still on test.. And we havent got a pic from the other class hat either, so.. Just have to wait and see.

Anyway, people have the right to express their meanings, and not get flamed by others for it.

I say: It is a bad looking class helmet that doesnt look like a mage-helmet at all. Thats my oppinion, not some of your oppinions. Thank you.

Anyway: Some said to get a circlet with runes on the side? Yeah, that would look much better. Sort of the same as on the unnoficial pictures, but without the plate in front. Maybe with some of those glowing thingys on the side of the helmet. Maybe some sort of like the druid-helmet. Yeah, that would look great. And even show my nice, blond, elven hair, not just a sack on the head. But again, thats MY oppinion.

Well, as usual, I disagree with the mass public opinion. I'm actually a horror movie fan, and I'm always kicking the snot out of necros I come across that want to convince me that they're so goth they're DEAD (tm). I think it's a darn good tribute to both Sol Ro AND the fact that conjy's can actually look badass. The whole hockey mask/shovel/frying pan(lol)/sackhead thing really makes conjy's look like you wouldn't really want to encounter an angry one in a back alley.

I'm one of the few who appreciates the look, I know. The only thing I would've done different is square the jaw a bit to make it look MORE like a shovel.

Very cool.

Honestly, while I don't much care for the hockey mask part, its not too terrible. It's the bag over the head that totally kills the helm for me.

ok guys i thought about and yes i do love this hat but now i think ive also figured out why it looks like this. if you guys think back like way back to kunark and remember as a young Mage questing for the orb of elemental mastery, questing to master the elements, do you remember a certain item that every Mage had to retrieve from the [Removed for Content] plane of sky? think think...wait...it was the CROWN OF ELEMENTAL MASTERY!! ding ding ding. so for those saying that this doesnt fit our class well you are quite wrong think of this as a reinvisioned crown from EQ1 used to bind elementals to ourselves (Elemental Binder comes to mind to) i believe it was always meant for Magicians/Conjurors to be wearing some type of crown to signify themselves as summoners. so yes i believe this makes the hat even cooler. I will wear this all the time, sooo much better than a plane simple boring old pointy hat (sorry wizards =P)

My only problem with this hat is the potato sack. While I'd prefer it to not have the mask part over the face, I can stand that. But as long as the potato sack goes away, and our hair shows through with the crown sitting on top of it...this will be a nice hat. Keep the sack though, and will have to /showhelm or not talk to Hoo'luh again.

I hope it's changed to allow the hair to show through so it's more like a crown/mask type of helm... in that case it may actually look good. With the sack covering the whole head though, it looks like Deadpool and Jason had a love child.
