![]() Third week straight we zoned into Emerald Halls and everyone had to keep there computers on over night, because it takes more then one night to raid it. And third week straight server has come down while trying to keep the zone open, it's very incobvinient. If you update your server status and downtime pages guilds can plan around your poorley designed instance that takes 10 hours to complete, until you find a way to save zones. |

![]() Poorly designed instances? Last i did some raids i must admit that i found the zones nicely designed, good challenges. Im sure that once you got all tactics under your skin and know the zone 100% you can do EH on less than 1 night. And i really dont think SoE meant for people to "save a zone" by simply keeping it open overnight, thats a invention of the players themselves (like snare kiting in EQLive) Edit: Also, dunno what server your on, but all servers have a specific time that they go down for a resetting/updates - and on EU servers its 4/5 am GMT (5/6 CET) - dont remember time on US servers.

![]() Have you been in EH? Yea the zone is pretty and the encounters are nice. Theres no design flaws there minus ummm 60 seconds of lag everytime gardener charms and lag spikes everytime a mob despells. I am not talking about the technical designs of the zone. I am talking about having to clear almost every mob from every floor, on endless trash timesinks and not being able to do it in our 4 hour raid night therefor keeping the zone open to finish it the next day. Perhaps some guilds can't clear 350 mobs in 4 hours plus named, maybe yours is able to. That aside, can SOE please be more caring on updateing server downtime pages, it takes maybe 2 min to update a day or two ahead of time so that people can plan around it, not just for Emerald Halls, I can think of several reasons to let subscribers know what times they will not be able to play. |

![]() I dont think anyone can do that, yet. But, as i said, once everyone knows the tactics it will probably be a 1 day trip. Its like labs, in the beginning it took like 2-3 hours, now it takes 40 min But, if you read the edit i did; you will see that i note that all servers has a specific time that they go down, except for weekends where SoE HQ is, basically, closed. You can also look on the test server updates, if theres an update that have been added the day before you guys raid, the chances of the update going live overnight is big while your keeping the zone open. If you know what time your server is going down you can plan from that, it just takes a little reading on the test server updates 1 time each day to know if your server will go down while keeping a zone open

US servers do not have a set day every week that the servers come down on.

Really? Because the last time I paid any attention to it, there was a standing daily server restart at approximately 3 a.m. Pacific Coast time. I admit though, I stopped paying attention to that a long time ago, as I am not generally on that late.
