So Here's the problem: Every now and again I'll be playing EQ2 and it will freeze my computer (Frozen as in nothing moves, mouse, nada) It often happens while zoning, but has on occasion happened while I'm in zone. Here's where it gets wierd, when I reset it will continue to freeze at some point during the loading of my computer. Sometimes it will tell me it can't "read disc." Sometimes it'll load the "launch Windows in safemode/regular" with a timer. If I click launch in safe mode, it will freeze. If I try to launch in regular windows it freezes. If I let the 25 second timer run out it will sit on the windows loading screen for a few min and freeze. No matter how many times I reset, no matter how close I get, it will freeze. ... The only option is to turn off the computer. Then after about 30-45 minutes being ideal, If I then turn it on, it will run perfectly normal till the next possible freeze (which always occurs during EQ2) It could be hours/days away. I've taken it into 2 shops and neither seems to have really spotted the problem. Any ideas? Is it the game or my computer (or a combo of both? Thx. Some files i Couldn't find EQ2_CRASH.LOG, CRASHLOG.TX. The Graphics card is new, everything else is about 1 1/2 years old. Does something need to be replaced?

Hello Gorgamorph ,

The fact that you have to wait before you can reboot your computer makes me think this may be an over heating issue.

Open your case make sure that all your fans are spinning freely and clear of dust, you may want to even try leaving the scase open and directing a house fan into it even.
