![]() For a Swashbuckler, there are a few different tradeskill professions that can help you out: Weaponsmith - Will be able to create weapons for you. (May include some thrown weapons?) Armorer - Will be able to create armor and metal shields Jeweler - Will be able to create jewelry and your scout upgrade spells Of all the professions, Jeweler would probably be your best bet as it does your spell upgrades and supplement any jewelry that you might need. Armorer would also be a decent choice since there are so many armor slots. Weaponsmith would only cover your weapons, but as a scout those are important for your DPS. One could argue in an "ideal world" armorer is less important for DPS than weapons since, in a group, you should not be getting hit much. However, I tend to be more conservative. Alchemists can also make poisons, though I'm not sure if a swashy uses them. A tailor will make bags and sacks (to hold thrown weapon ammo). A carpenter can make strong boxes for your bank and crates for sales. However, these aren't something you'll need to "upgrade" much, if ever. Hope this helps! Edit: (Forgot about starting a profession.) If you're from Qeynos or Freeport, you need to speak to someone in the crafting area to start a profession. They should automatically grant you to level 2 and then you get your initial set of recipes. If you're in Freeport, I believe the fellow is on the top floor between the chemistry table and work bench. If you're in Qeynos, I believe the fellow is also on the top floor standing next to the stairs.

There's a bit more information and some further links to more, in the stickied "frequently asked questions" thread at the top of this forum!
