Has anyone had an issue where Venekor summons members of the raid after the entire force has gone into his room?  The last 2 runs of HoS we've done, venekor has done this.  We clear the entire zone, entire raid force runs into venekor's room as one, we get into position, wait for him to finish his dialog, then bam, right before he become attackable he summons 4 to 6 ppl to random points throughout the room.  I thought he was only supposed to do this if atleast one person isn't in the room with the rest of the force?  He has done this everytime we go into his room for the past 2 raids now.  Making it so we can never even pull him.

When that happens it means one of your raid has agroed the one of the guardians around the side.

to clarify, we have the entire raid force in venekor's room, all standing at the pull spot, nothing aggro'd at all.  Venekor sits there giving his speech, then just before he become aggro boom, ppl are summoned.

It means people aren't running into the room correctly and are too close to the wall as they enter, which makes it seem like they aren't entering the room.  Thus they get ported.  Have people run through the middle instead of on a side, and don't have them so close to the wall.

the path we take is starting at the right side of the door, we run through the middle to the back left corner.  We've killed venekor before using the same pull spot and run path without ever having a problem.

Calaglin is 100% right about this Dainar - we used to have the exact same problem and forced us to fight it in the middle of the room, it was actually rather funny. Bottom line is if you are getting ported inside the room it's either as Calaglin put it, 1. You have members outside the room. 2. You have people too close to the walls.

One thing we do is to make sure everyone only runs as far as the small water bowl in the corner until he has agroed. It seemed to us that people were tucking into that corner too soon. Once we started doing that we didn't get any more issues.

hmm, thanks for the input.  I'll try having ppl not get so tucked into the corner next time and see if that makes a difference.

We have the entire raid run in a line just to the right of the center column then back into the NW corner.   We do tuck back into the corner with no issues at all.   Maybe hitting the middle of the room is the key.
