I just knew that there was no way you could allow your self to write such a "non-evil" evil story for long before you started to miss hte kinslayers. I for one am pleased that you've picked it back up.

![]() I knew you couldn't stay away from him too long. Our Mains root themselves firmly within our own psyche and become more of a part of us than we know. I'm glad to see you continuing this. I'll get you that Rydian History in a bit. |

Two stories at once? You're even more of a hero to me now. =DSuch a clean summary of the previous tale, and a very strong opening. Definitely looking forward to more. And very much looking forward to Scrattch. =)

With my new job I'm starting to understand your pain there Ekuth. Juggle the family, the job and still trying to find time to play the game or write on the stories. So I'll still be checking in whenever i have a chance to see if anything new has been posted on either of your storylines =).

/claps very nice but nothing that i wouldn't have expected from Ekuth. I'll do my best to not start zenning but i like the foreshadowing of the daughter. I really wanna see how this turns out, she does have that peticular soul within her

I'm here too, just usual RL issues (two nights of being woke-up by puking kid, I guess I should be glad they aren't both yucky at same time, but tough on sleep) and unusual RL issues (will be off-line this week-end for out-state trip

![]() Wasn't it a different soul that he used? the soul of what's her name there. And the soul of the unborn child was used for power. The whole savor the flavor of the innocent part. As to stopping by it's not like i can stop myself =). It took a few days to finish reading the post on three seperate occasions but it was well worth the trouble. As I've said before I have my favorite authors that i have to stop in and check up on no matter how hectic things are being

Tea, Darling, you really really need to work on your Teir'Dal hate issues....just cause we are 'evil' doesn't mean we don't care about our kids and want to see them do the best they can...we just have different motives then you 'goodies'. You don't use your own kids for a power source...that's what other folk's kids are for. Granted being a disembodied soul does limit the colleges Am Jr can get accepted too (although having Dad on the faculty couldn't hurt with the mage guild) and future career options, but Dad's already worked the basics of resouling a body....

![]() Not to add more fuel to the speculation, but... Noitul nodded sympathetically. "And you will continue to do so, until you die. It is a battle now, Ambrosious. A battle of wills- hers against your own. The child... is inert. Powerless. She will use its energy against you though. You must learn to control it, control her- or you will lose the battle, your body and your mind." Taken from Kinslayers Tale, Chapter Fifty-One (emphasis added) ... Further, Ambrosious or any other true Tier'Dal would NEVER resurrect or claim Kinship with the soul of a child whose mother was the product of and participated in incestuous relationships. House Y'tsul was eradicated for that very reason. Ambrosious simply found an... interesting way to deal with the soul of the final member of the House. |

![]() I'm glad to see you still writing. I half expected to see a bottle of Rydian Ale on Ambrosious' desk as a gift. *Blows the cobwebs off of her own writing desk* ... now to find my ambition... *looks in a few drawers* |

![]() First time stopping by a writers/roleplayers forum and honestly I'm glad I did. I just clicked a title thread near the top. This was so interesting im thinking of looking up more of your work. It has also stirred up a reason for me to create a bio/background for my own main character to add more depth to an already deep game. I"ll definitley be stopping by here more often. Like the others have said, great job and I can't wait to see more. |

![]() Mysidia! Good to see you back. Now get writing or else... *looks for cat-o-ninetails* Yes, I'm writing. Sporadically, but still at it. Work isn't allowing much creative time, but the bills are getting paid... Thanks Alycs! TantrumX: Welcome to the forums! You'll find alot of great stories here. This thread is part two of my magnum opus. Read Kinslayer's Tale first to get the full background on what's going on. Kinslayer's Return continues the saga that will be completed in Book III (eventually). I'm also penning Pawn of Fate simultaneously, to cover the other side of the spectrum... lol. Again, welcome aboard, and thank you for the comments! |
