So since we're getting a forced respec, presumably, I guess I'll finally drop Serenity since I have found little to no use for it (HotS mistbound enforcers, getting fingered on Othysis), and use the extra 8 points for some melee crit and group heal proc to go with my Pride's Edge.  For 2 points might even take that laughable Str endline ability since I don't see anything else in Wis or Str really jumping out at me screaming take me.

Melee Crits?!?! As far as I was aware Furys never got melee crits - Wardens get the 75% end line in EoF, Clerics and Shammys get KoS Melee Crits but we don't. Unless the KoS druid got revamped completly that is *looks over test server toon*

I think after the change I'll end up being 4 4 8 6 2 INT, and 4 6 4 8 2 STA; only difference from now is getting Serenity since I'll have a few more aa's.

I've tried meleeing, even with agitate on myself, and tho my dps results were incredibly good, the melee only accounted for 3-5% of it; I was actually pretty surprised by how negligible it was.

edit: With blackscale maul btw

Although I like the Maul and I have hit for more then it's damage range, it's too slow, and not an effective weapon as it should be, imho. I use the following two hander and single hander for raids and questing, and I find that in a major multiple mob fight when mana get burned down they can do some nice damage, to kill the mob.

Admantine Doomhammer http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/item.h...l?eq2item=21007  &   Prides Edge http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/item.h...l?eq2item=22650

I'd rather not bother with trying a different weapon, as I am chain casting. The blackscale maul was the best option for what I was doing because I had a constant ~80% haste and ~60% dps, so it was hitting after nearly every spell. Melee just sucks for a Fury, unless you have animal form... then it still sucks, just not as much. Was getting between 2100-2600dps on single targets, and the melee hits were between 3 and 5%. Thunderbolt: ~25%, Starnova: ~20%, Infusive Wrath: ~15%, Tempest: ~10%, Ring of Fire: ~5%, Crushing: ~5%, Dissonant Note: ~5%

Not entirely practical, but Double Attack + Heal Proc + Animal Form is fun.  The animal form proc triggers even on the double-attacks because it is a 100% proc.  I end up having 0 hate with the mob if I'm soloing something so as soon as my lions spawn from Pride's Edge the mob turns on them.
