I logged in to test quickly last night and jumped into one of the new Frostfell instances.

We get food for our tables ....

New stockings .....

New presents .....

New snow globes .....

and for less than 1gp each three basic Fireplaces (more you can craft I think, but I ran out of time). I quickly ran to my home not having any expections considering the price, but they look GREAT!!!!! Sorry no time to get screenies but I am sure someone will post some soon.

I am also told that there is a Frostfell Tree that is a quest reward. Frostfell fans rejoice!!!!!

And finally thanks to the Devs for thinking of our homes this Frostfell. I guess i am now a fanboi.........

I was able to buy the 3 basic Fireplaces. I understand that there is a heap of Frostfell stuff that can be player made within the instance but I was totally out of coin by then so I could not even buy fuel (Test toon is lvl 8, ...sigh). I don't think it is tied to a tradeskill lvl at all (someone can correct me on that if I am wrong). I was really hoping that there would be player made stuff tied to tradeskill as I have a 70 Carp alt, but it does not look like that is the case. At least in that Frostfell instance anyway.

I am just happy that this new house stuff is starting to come through. It looks like this event has had a lot of work put into it, unlike Haloween that was just a re-hash of last year.

Maybe someone that had a lot my time to look around than I did could post some comments.

/runs around in circles muttering "omgomgomgomgomgomg"

By the way this is my first post in this area of the boards but I have been a huge fan of all your work.  I am nearing completion of my house and am eager to get some screenies up for all to see.

I didn't spend a lot of time looking at individual recipes, but from what I could see the ingredients are not the usual stuff..... it's more like stuff that the Frostfell faeries have left for us...lol :smileywink:    I don't want to spoil the fun....so not saying any more. :smileyvery-happy:

Frostfell recipe ingredients are harvested in the Frostfell zone, and crafted with Frostfell fuels, using the Frostfell Crafting Devices. In other words: bring some coin and a WHOLE LOT of empty bag space into the magic closet with you.

What snow globes did you find? I didn't recall seeing any, but they were pretty cool last year.

I've seen 3 different ones so far. I got an antonican one, and I saw a Thulian and one other I've forgotten the name of. And... I heard (but haven't tested) that they are both snowglobes and music boxes combined SMILEY

The only downside I see that the recipies may only be makeable during Frostfelll as they requrie special raws and special fuels all only found in the Frostfell villiage. Plus I hope they instance the villiage at a small number of people as there are a VERY LARGE number of different raws available (filled up over two 20 slot boxes and still didn't have one of everything) - need to feedback this idea next time I log in.

Oh yayy!!!  I was excited before, but now I'm about 483204 times more excited (and impatient)!I'm pleased with the fireplaces..but I really loooove some of the creative player made ones.  I hope this won't stop people from making their own unique fireplaces. And food!  Our dining room tables will be bare no longer!Edit:  Can't spell.  Dur.

Not exactly.  It shares a layout with the whole area of EF off by Perma, the islands where the Druzaic shrine spawns.  FOR NOW you just enter via a magic closet near the big Frostfell tree in your home city, but please bear in mind that as of last night on Test we only had the first version of it all, still, and that it's, as ever, buggy and subject to change at any time.  (There's also no way out yet, although there's supposed to be.  Haha, oops.)There are quests to be had inside the Frostfell zone, however.
