Now that's dedication!  Nice job EveningSong!  I do hope that with the expansion they provide more furniture that fits into those types of housing.

From all appearances, at present there are no new carpenter recipes other than the adornments (which there appears to be a lot of) and the altars that carpenters can make (but the recipes are still MIA). If the questable/purchaseable altars are anything to judge by though, hopefully the carpenter ones will be very nice SMILEY. (apparently common at 35, rare at 65 but no info otherwise).

Quick!!!! Get a fly swatter or a rolled up newspaper or something.

Squish it quick!!

These houses are appealing to me, but I don't know if they are appealing enough to want to go thru moving out of SQ...  I'll have to wait and see what happens with all of that.  I like the roundness of the rooms, the wood look, and the staircases.  I see lots of decorating opportunities in this!  But it's missing something.  Maybe its the windows, lack of a patio.... ahh, that's it!  It's a bit claustrophoic feeling.

Take the ramp up from the platform behind the inn. The double building on the left contains the 3 and 4 bedroom places.

Nice one, Eveningsong SMILEYI sort of miss windows too, some natural light in there would've had potential. I think its also missing any large wallspace for the biggest tapestries? (like the collection ones)How were the walls there in general, easy to place stuff on or are they eating items like in SQ? Same goes for roofs.

The houses are remarkably bug-free actually SMILEY. The walls are actually not really round but a series of flat panels - this means you can hang pictures, etc., but it also means that at the angles where the panels meet, things don't wrap around and can get cut off. It limits placement a big, but nothing I've placed so far has been "eaten". Ceilings on the lower level work fairly well, there are some places near the stairwell that can't place, but the main area hangs chandeliers just fine. On the upper level, things are relatively the same, with just a couple of floor areas near the stairs that you can't place on (but I found if I used a rough linen carpet I could place an item and just remove the rug). The biggest problem is the wall in the one upper room where there is an extension into the room (the wall behind the altar of Tunare). The wall makes a perfect base for a fireplace or some sort of display... but nothing can be placed on it. Hopefully some of these kinks will be worked out over the last few days. They've already fixed the black hole door in the 3 bedrooms hehe. Oh, and no you can't place anything on the leaf landing at present either...

Is that you at the door? My goodness if Fae are that small don't you think their housing and household goods should scale? Shouldn't they be sleeping in a flower or something? Goodness.
