Recently visited the zone with an x2 of level 70 players for achievement, fun and T6 masters. I should introduce the topic by saying I never visited the zone before this trip, and I never raided it when DOF was the latest expansion. It was my first time. A few comments and concerns:First, half or more of the nameds in the zone didn't award achievement. This was dissapointing. I'm sorry I don't have names specifically. Similarly the amount of achievement was strange. Lockjaw awarded a nice lump of achievement, but the PPR mobs awarded a scant amount when they did.Second, many of the nameds towards the end were able to drop nearly 8000 damage on my well geared T7 head, through 65% mit, or even higher resists (and that's listed against 70s!) We had to give up on the last two mobs of the zone thanks to the multiple back to back 6-8k hits instantly wiping me. The boss mobs in PPR hit harder than Vyemm. There is absolutely no way that a T6 raid could complete this zone right now. Beyond the bosses being so unbelievably tough with their amazing damage and near instant power wipes the trash was also capable of putting out hits that would shame 95% or more of T7's trash mobs.Third, the minotaurs of the zone seemed to have more hitpoints than even AoA. When it takes an x2 of 70s 3-4 minutes with some members doing over 2000 DPS to take down a group of 4 T6 mobs there's something wrong with their HP pool. I can't even imagine how hellish those pulls must've been if they were that way for real t6 raid forces. And finally, this may be more of a request, but could you please consider upping T6 m1 drop rate and ancient drop rate (52 and 55s) on T6 raid content? Much of the content goes unused, but is still fun to visit. My guild runs Courts almost weekly in a 6 man format for fun/profit (we can take all but the Black Queen,) but we've only had 1 m1 drop in 3 full runs. For many T7 players it is nigh impossible to aquire ancient and 57-59 m1s, and a drop rate boost in the appopriate zones (Poet's Palace and Return, Courts, Gates, Scornfeather's, Pedestal, etc) would be a big help.

The mobs are designed to have those massive hits because you are supposed to have a ring (rare drop) that negates the power drain and damage from Wrath of the Djinn. If you don't have a ring it makes it much harder but still doable. As for the trash mobs yes they were awful but with some good raid DPS you could take them down fairly quickly.

hehe, you'll have fun in Mistmoore's Inner Sanctum with blood colossuses. 3 million hp each and they have refreshing damage shields. some encounters even have two or more of them.

Correct me if I am wrong but Poets was the second most difficult raid in DoF was it not? It in reality is more of a T6.5 raid, and was one of the raids only guilds like Aftermath really could do well at lvl.

The rare ring only helps against the power drain as i remember and not against high damage hits, if the mobs are hitting 6-8k it sounds to me like the zone hasnt been tweaked yet. This is probably quite likely seen as the zone is such a balls ache with the 10 million trash encounters that no one bothers to do it and so no one has yet complained.

BTW our guild musta been one of the luckiest in the world in that zone during T6, we had the ring drop on the 2nd trash encopunter in the first room of the zone on our first ever trip in (unfortunatly took us a while to realise it only works when worn on the fnger and not as a belt or necklace which you can also do!). Some guilds i know were raiding that zone every week during T6 and still never had a drop b4 T7. Either way the zone was possible with no ring at all  even at T6, just very very hard.

Poets was the hardest instance other then DMP (and I guess PoS, but that is debatable) in T6.   Now granted a x2 of L70 KoS / EoF raid geared people should have much of an issue with it (though if you have never been in there Wrath of the Djnn without a ring would be a pain, and probably wipe you a few times before you got used to it), but if you were using DoF fabled / EoF Legandary with only an x2 I could see issues.I actually used to love raiding PP:R back in DoF days, and beating it was a big thing back then.....especially with Lathena (believe that was her name) used to love to drop legandary chests...lol

Sorry, having been there before I just chuckle at the word "fun". This zone is not fun, I'm glad I beat it so I never have to go back again (I hope.)

Yeah we beat Juranata with no djinn ring when dof was the focus.

Many guilds did full t6 (except djinn master) well before KoS

What was a feat then...?? Killing Siyamak through the unbalancing of night and day! That was fierce.

it was fun as a druid healing thru supernova in pos hectic spam a ton, made me feel really useful lol

pptr is a zone many people dislike for the many trash mobs with zillions of hps, but it was one of my favorite zones back in the day good loot and some nice encounters/boss fights.

Whoever did PP:R ought not to be doing any further zone design.  It was horrible, I can't even bring myself to farm it in T7.

You are incorrect - EL did not beat Jura'nata until the first ring had been looted.  That night was the first night EL beat the whole zone. Jura'nata was taken to approximately 40% without a ring by EL, however.
