Well it looks like the difficulty on Very Difficult actually works now.  We tried it today after LU 19 and had a lot of trouble on the top floor, which we never have before.  The problem is that the loot doesnt appear to be any better for the VD setting.  If it is supposed to be, can you please fix it?  If not, I don't really see the point of going in at this level.

Loot difference doesn't work on ANY instance that has this choice. Why they even bothered adding these choices, no idea. Kinda stupid to add a very difficult version, only to have the same loot drop.

Are you sure that its not just the upgraded mob abilities in LU 19 that is causing it to be harder?   I trio it with some friends (guard, fury, templar) and we always do difficult and can do 2 of the top 3 mobs (not beauty).   But I've noticed it is harder since LU 19, but still doable.

Splitpaw raid zone has different loot for different difficulty levels.

I was under the assumption that all loot is Tier Based.  Meaning, you can get a level 38 loot drop off a level 30 mob....it may be rare, but it can happen. You can also get a level 30 drop off a level 39 monster.  I got a level 30 Inq master off a level 38 named in RE.So, unless they mobs actually change tiers, then the loot would probably remain about the same....

I never saw it. They may have changed it recently but back in the days of SPlitpaw when it came out and when everyone was playing there, it didn't make any difference.

Since day one of Splitpaw, Brutal acts of War had different items depending on the difficulty level.

I think you are confusing Acts of War and Brutal Acts of War.

Same loot table from my experience in both brutal and normal.   We don't even bother with those instances now though they were great fun int he past SMILEY

Yes but they could greatly increase your chances of getting that master, couldn't they? Currently in poet's all we usually seem to get is one piece of fabled gear, which usually isn't even all that great, and most of the time is certain class only AND no trade, meaning it's just vendor trash..... It would be really nice if on very difficult setting, you would get a guarenteed master spell at least. This wouldn't be flooding the market or anything, since it should take six people to do it on very difficult. One master per day per six people isn't that bad. As it is I see very few 50+ conjuror master's on the broker. I have gotten a couple master drops off regular heroic mobs however, which seems weird when poets hasn't been dropping any masters for me lately at all.
