It's pretty much a guarantee that Live Update 29 will be Echoes of Faydwer's launch, as DoF and KoS also went live in the same manner.

Is there any chance we can see the Tunare and Innoruuk prophet quests before that though? It doesn't feel right to introduce those two and have them tell us of how they're going to return in the near future on the same day as the expansion where Tunare's influence is significant comes out.

That is a good point.  Maybe it will be that Tunare and Innoruuk will be featured so heavily in the expansion that they felt there was no need to give a live event prophet quest for them.  Sort of makes sense with the info we have about Faydwar being influenced by some leak from Tunare.

Pretty good, I'd imagine. We still have another month and a half til EoF releases. More than enough time to have another GU.

They hold one GU per month, and Brell Sirelis and Solusek Ro are up next....

I assume they'll have all 8 before EoF goes live. Updates happen usually in the 1st or 2nd week of the month, so that leave 1 update for October and 1 small one in early November before EoF goes live... Brell/Ro appear to be pretty much ready to go live, I think it just depends on how much more they planned for this month's update.

I'm thinking since Tunare and Innoruuk are pretty much the most well-known gods, they will be the last two implimented to add a sort of sense of "drama".

Well, I will tell you this much:With 28a, the Innoruk quest-giver actually gave the quest, even though I believe that was unintended at that time.  You just can't actually do or complete the quest (you need to be ported to a certain thing and you accept the quest but stay where you are).  So it's not as though it's completely not in -- SOMETHING with the addition of 28s gave that NPC that dialog option (and quest-giver quill icons).

I am starting to wonder if it is a guartnee that EoF will be launched in November. I haven't seen a official announcement yet. It is quite possible that we will get update 29 in November and update 30 in the early to middle of December will be EoF.

I would assume they would have it out before the middle of December for the holiday shoppers.

Yah I dont think they went through all the trouble of putting Innoruuk's influence all over Neriak, throwing his prophet up in front of the Temple of War without the intent of something going on. Same goes with Tunare's influence in the Commonlands around the druid ring. We might not see a quest given out per say, but mayhaps a live event the day before the launch, like the whole spire building event.

Biggest thing I don't want to see next god quests is the next gods to be divided up between towns like the last two sets. They were more of a neutral type so wouldn't make sense to throw either one in alignment with one of the cities.

They've already said, and doing the quests on Test proves, that Brell and Ro are the neutral ones.  My Freeport main has been able to do the quests in the Feerrott, Antonica, Lavastorm, and Zek (well, those are both in Zek, aren't they?  The evil one, then). And as I said above, there is a quest from the Seraph in Freeport.  It's just not working yet, because I don't think it's supposed to be.  It sounds like a very clever idea, though.

well, 4 quests from the prophets are on live, 2 more a coming with lu 28, so i bet the remaining ones will be close before eof launch and will enable the traveling to the the new zones.
just what i made up in my mind how they will be, but i woudnt be surpirsed if they would be somewhat close to that.

Actually LU's (which they seem to be calling GU (game update) these days) have generally ranged from 3 to 5 weeks, like you said, probably depending on content and how smoothly the 'testing' goes.  They also seem to prefer Wednesday's for patch day (guess enough time M/T to tie up loose ends, enough time R/F if something goes wrong... heh)

In addition, looking at the dates it would seem expansion packs generally are 9ths in (DoF), then 5mths in (KoS), and then 9mths in (EoF) which seems like its the biggest one yet, by description and timeline (you have to figure some of the 9mths of the core game to DoF expansion was spent 'fixing' alot from the original EQ2 launch).  And you can 'guess' that the next expansion would fall either in May '07 (if they are doing small expansion / big expansion) or as late as August '07 if they do another biggie.

Finally Adv. Packs are a wildcard... they seemed to be coming every 3-4 months to start, but I guess they didn't do as well as SoE had hoped and slipped with a major lag before the most recent one was put out.  Though during that break alot was done to the core game (from combat revamp, to offline selling, to many 'new' raid zones, to crafting revamp and writs, (finally got T6 carpenter rare recipies, heh), the prophet quests, etc so mabye it was just a shift in priorities for a while.

Below is a quote from the LU #28 preview posting.

Norrath continues to buzz with the machinations of the gods and their prophets. Over the past few months we’ve seen the emissaries of Cazic-Thule, Mithaniel Marr, Rallos Zek, and Quellious disturb the fragile balance of our world, recruiting soldiers for their unknown plans. Now it seems that Solusek Ro is stirring as well, firing up the passions of his worshippers of old. And rumor speaks also of a lieutenant of the Duke of Below traveling the land.

The next two Live Events can be embarked upon from the beaches of Lavastorm and Antonica, just outside Blackburrow. You can also expect a couple more precursors to the return of the gods to appear before Game Update 29, but we'll keep their identities a secret for now.

The last two god events will be in game before LU #29

Actually from what they said after KOS I wouldn't expect another expansion until at least August of next year. They said that from now they were going to take more time in between expansions. Mostly because of the complaints about all the things that were wrong or missing from DoF that weren't fixed by the time KoS launched. I also would say now I would expect a Level increase with that expansion.

What I'm wondering is if the quests will stay in the game permanently or if they'll disappear soon after EoF goes live.

Tuna and Inny are the big pullers for the marketing peeps. If you want the two most popular gods its a sure bet your going to have to fork out for the expansion to get them.

Well since the haunted house nor the trick or treak goblin are in maybe the other gods quests will be patched in when the rest of the holiday stuff is patched in, seems to me the gods quests that where just added where a tad easier then the rest.. But i did like feeding gnolls to gnolls =P..  Besides this patch was a huge download for me not sure why took over 10 min and only had like 15 lines in the patch notes..

All the Halloween content was most likely in the patch, it just hasn't been activated on the servers yet.

Blah you prob right about the haloween stuff being in just not turned on=P.. But how hard would a patch of just 2 quests be.. But the lore released for EOF is about tunare so she might be a big role in the expantion and thus not get her own quest, but who knows..

I just hope for the quests or faction or whatever we have to do to get faction with our god that we can help each other.. I'd hate to pick a  god and not be able to get any help with the epic 4 final faction encounter that im sure will be in the Faction quest line casue SOE loves the raiders, heck The encounter would prob be hey go kill the other gods herald i dont like him spreading their gods words..  Or not get help with the lvl 74 ^^^ heroic mobs required to increase faction becasue killing them recudices your faction with your god.

Can you start your god 's faction grind at lvl 1? would seem to make it easier to max faction if you could.. But harder to code for youd have to make a bunch of different lvl quests that provide faction unless all the quests are in scaling instances..  Maybe thats the bulk of the number of quests that are new.. lol SOE adds 1k more quests 500 of them are different lvl god faction quests wouldnt surpirse me..

Sorry just ranting a little before work =P

Any news on this by chance?  Wondering if the last 2 god quests have been added on test yet?  Or if anyone has heard for sure that it will happen before EoF is released.  Thank you.Anestacia

Both quests are in game now; not sure when they were added but you speak to the lady in front of the Dismal Rage in N Freeport for the Inny Quest which gives you a Book of Hate ( +2% damage to all divine and mental spells) and the other is at the Druid Ring in Antonica.
