Allow Character Copy from Main to Test for LU24

With these new changes aka NERFS coming to all classes it is more important than ever that players be allowed to copy at LEAST 1 character to Test LU24 Testing.

These changes affect my Coercer a great deal, but I cannot test them as he is on the main game.

If you are interested in honest feedback lets us copy 1 character over from Main and then delete him for test once LU 24 goes live.

Do you really want to wait and hear all the complaints for your mistakes AFTER LU24 goes LIVE? Wouldn't it be better to hear them during test?? Or do you honestly like taking the servers down on a daily basis to patch errors that could/should have been caught in test if we had some of the right characters on the server!!

There is enough quality coercers on test. Dont need your main there.

I don't care what you think -- I want him there to test myself and not take everyone's word for it. Probably a lot will be grouping and I want soloers there. I want no surprises after LU24 and I surely don't want to depend on the word of people like you!!!

You are more than welcome to log into the test server, and create a coercer and test with the rest of us.

what lvl is your coercer? because i probably know at least 3-5 that are in any given range. i know for a fact that a lot of soloing goes on on the test server, and a lot of grouping and raiding as well. if you want to test specific changes, why not roll a coercer, like the rest of us testers and enjoy it.

maybe i was harsh, but what op wrote was more then arrogant. i know the guys on test, and they are doing awesome work. His assuming that he is in any way better is ridiculous.

Hate to tell you it dose not matter how many of any class tests this stuff you will hear complaints about it from someone. Even if they alowed for char copies people would still complain about the changes made. There is nothing that could be done to stop it.

But if you really want to see the changes you can roll a char on the Test Server. You get 2x the EXP there and could make 30-40 in a week or so if you play steady. I am sure you will be able to see and put your 2 copper in on any of the changes going in.

Huh...?Are you talking about the same test server that I've tried - or is there a separate one for us european players? I mean, the last time I checked there, there was a royal amount of 13 other players playing there. I'm pretty sure that none of them were Coercers.

I personally know a couple but I can almost guarantee you they won't respond here. I'd guesstimate that something like 80% of Test Server players no longer read this board. :-/

He wasn't arrogant at all. He wanted to give feedback as to how the changes may affect his character...it is a very common request to have characters copied to test.

You were the arrogant one, not him.

So many testers get so insulted every time the question of copying comes up...it is not a personal insult because people want to test some big change coming down the pike that has major game change implications.

There can never be 'enough' testers or testing.

I dunno, those highlighted parts could be taken as pretty arrogant, or at least bordering on insults to those of us that make test our home.

Possibly not the intentions meant, but choice of words can be tricky and can always be taken the wrong way when dealing with text and not face to face conversation.

But it seems that this is getting off topic from the OP request.

So, once again there is always an open invitation to come over to test and try it out to see whats going on. Who knows, you might even like it there and forget you have characters on the MAIN game. :smileyhappy:
