Yep, the EQ2 Test client is requesting over 200 gigs of RAM as my character tries to load into the world. My machine has only 1 gig installed - so *crash*.

The character I was on when the server was taken down is the character that has the same problem. My other character on Test comes up just fine and I can play him in game. The one that has the problem crashes when I try to enter the world from the character select screen. First I get a critical error--"Application ran out of memory when requesting 201326608 bytes." Clicking OK there will get me this:Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime LibraryRuntime Error!Program: ProgramFiles/Sony/EverQuestII/TestServer/EverQuest2.exeThis application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.Bleh.The Bleh is mine, not the error message's! SMILEY

Same here. The game's increased it's memory request slightly.

Still can't get in with any of my characters, whether the one I was playing before the patch or not.

Bit more information from me. I was just now able to create a new character and play her. So, of three characters on Test, the only one that has this problem is the one I was on when the server was taken down. She was in Oakmyst Forest. Odd.

Similar problem with the exact features as well - requesting inordinate (2gig+) amounts of memory and only on the toon I was playing before downtime.

Same problem with me.Running on 1 gig RAM, radeon 9800 pro card with omega 2.5.90 drivers. AMD CPU.The character I was on before the maintainance asks for about 200gig RAM, a brand new character I just created works fine tho.

Made a new character as well, and was able to get in-game to play. Until I tried zoning into the tradeskill instance - requested 177 gigs of RAM or so, and crashed me out again.  SMILEY

Still can't log in with any of my 4 existing characters, whether I'd played them today before the patch or not.

Wife was able to play her char in the Colony, but not able to get into the Outpost. Where is everyone playing (or trying).

Outpost here. And as an addendum, my brand new character who crashed zoning into the tradeskill instance now cannot get back in game, due to the same RAM requests.
