Yep, the EQ2 Test client is requesting over 200 gigs of RAM as my character tries to load into the world. My machine has only 1 gig installed - so *crash*.

The character I was on when the server was taken down is the character that has the same problem. My other character on Test comes up just fine and I can play him in game. The one that has the problem crashes when I try to enter the world from the character select screen. First I get a critical error--"Application ran out of memory when requesting 201326608 bytes." Clicking OK there will get me this:Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime LibraryRuntime Error!Program: ProgramFiles/Sony/EverQuestII/TestServer/EverQuest2.exeThis application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.Bleh.The Bleh is mine, not the error message's!

![]() Same here. The game's increased it's memory request slightly. Still can't get in with any of my characters, whether the one I was playing before the patch or not.

Bit more information from me. I was just now able to create a new character and play her. So, of three characters on Test, the only one that has this problem is the one I was on when the server was taken down. She was in Oakmyst Forest. Odd.

![]() Similar problem with the exact features as well - requesting inordinate (2gig+) amounts of memory and only on the toon I was playing before downtime.

Same problem with me.Running on 1 gig RAM, radeon 9800 pro card with omega 2.5.90 drivers. AMD CPU.The character I was on before the maintainance asks for about 200gig RAM, a brand new character I just created works fine tho.

![]() Made a new character as well, and was able to get in-game to play. Until I tried zoning into the tradeskill instance - requested 177 gigs of RAM or so, and crashed me out again. Still can't log in with any of my 4 existing characters, whether I'd played them today before the patch or not.

![]() Outpost here. And as an addendum, my brand new character who crashed zoning into the tradeskill instance now cannot get back in game, due to the same RAM requests.
