I've had no problems with EQ2 jumping around applications. I tend to play with half a dozen IE windows open as I play (Plus YIM)

I'm running WinXP with 1gig ram and 2.2 gig Celeron (I think Intel is better at multitasking than AMD - don't remember)

If you've got the same or better, try stripping the fancy graphics and animations from XP.

For XP users, I reccomend http://www.tweakxp.com It's what I use and have had good experiences with it.

I used to know of a good site for general windows tweaks but I don't remember it anymore and don't want to reccomend anything I haven't used. SMILEY

On the topic of Pizza Hut. It sucks. Not the worst pizza in the world but not for lack of effort.

That said, I love this addition.

SOE wouldn't add this in if Pizza Hut wasn't paying them to in some way. Persoanlly I'd rather have Pizza Hut paying SOE than SOE charging more a month.

Hence, while Pizza Hut is baaaad, /pizza is gooood. SMILEY

the time it takes for alt-tab to switch is bad enough, then you got a burp where everything resyncs in windows, then when you ready to go back in game you gotta switch back to eq2 (another burp in windows) and remaxamize the window (this is what eq2 really hates i think, being minimized then maximized). Then another burp as eq2 resyncs. then itll seem fine for a while but eventually it seems to multiply the effect of the memory leak.

BTW I got an athlon 64bit 3200+, 1gig of pc3200 ram, and a radeon x800 pro graphics card, running XP Pro with SP1

ok, I have mixed emotions about the /pizza deal. The same with the Intel label on the sign in screen....

I suppose I can put up with those two small commercials.... BUT, when SOE starts having Pizza Hut Pizza, Budwieser Beer, Coke, and Pepsi INSIDE the game, I quit completely. That will completely go way way way over the line....

One thing I'd like to know, how many pizzas actually get ordered within a 24 hour period using the in game order form? I mean really, how lazy can someone be? SMILEY

of course SOE is selling that add space, and I'm sure Pizza Hut is paying pretty good for an actual in game order form....

But seriously, I know a LOT of people that will quit when the commercials make it in game....

Coke and Pepsi being sold on the vendors.... Toll House cookies on the vendor..... when that day happens, I quit, along with many many others too...

It's so great SOE is working on important things like making sure we eat. "Why worry about fixing bugs when we shall give them /pizza!" I spent half the night in battle mode, even when the battles stopped. Yes I zoned and /exit a few times but it kept coming back. Can we have a /raidspray to kill all the bugs?

/pizza is weird ... I dunno if I will ever use it but who knows ... I did type /pizza just to see what it was like, heh heh. Good, dunno ... Bad, dunno ... it doesn't effect my gameplay and that is my main concern.

ROFL, that /pizza will make big problems, believe me.There´ll be a smart american guy suing SOE for the adipositas(which means being ill fat) from playing EQ2 all day and eating Pizza from Pizza hut ordered through it, without stating that too much pizza can be unhealthy.And as USA is the only country where plain stupid and irresponsible individuals get paid for such things, there´ll be a judge who sentences them to millions of compensation.So watch out SOE! Using /pizza is just as bad as buying something from spam email. If there is ANY positive gain from it, then they will implement more and push the limits more. I really didn't even like dell, nvidia and alien ware logos all over the place. Which is partly why I buy ATI and HP now. I am not a demographic

Hrmm I'm expecting a pizza nerf soon where soon you can pass out a slice but then it becomes attunable to your hand...but it will be bugged so that pizza slice can not be destroyed and you'll have that pizza in your quest book for life.:smileyvery-happy:
