I am set for the next wave, bringing my characters from oggok to test, but am curious about a couple things.

Did the first wave bring many people to test?

Of those who came, were there many whole guilds or mostly individuals and small groups?

My hope is that test remains the home of rugged individualists, and doesn't fall prey to a bevy of guilds thinking they can transfer there just to be top dog.

I'd like to start a guild  for the express purpose of exploring all the little sub zones, all the strange corners, taking down all the lesser known mini bosses, and it seems that test is the kind of place a philosophy like that would go over well, but if too many wanna be uber guilds move in it might kill the mystique somewhat.

On the other hand, if almost no one moves it will be rough as well.  I've made several characters on test, but always get frustrated because there is not enough people to group with  (i tend to play a little later in the evening than the bulk of players).

I am a little worried about this.  If I move and all the guilds move in, it will be just like most other servers as far as atmosphere.  I'll gain the benefit of test content earlier and getting a first look now and then, and having a chance to contribute to the game.  I'd still move with no real regrets, but I wouldnt be quite as excited about it.   If I move and noone is there, I will wind up having to restart on a regular server (i hate soloing).  My money is on the middle route, that it will be mostly singles like myself and small groups who just havent found the experience they are looking for on the regular servers, and in enough quantity as to form an amazing community.

I am already  tired of the standard track, and frustrated that there even is a standard track so early in game.  I am frustrated that getting a group for zarvonn's or vale of shattering or den of the darkblade assassin is so difficult.  I am frustrated that so many cool quests have to wait until the mobs grey out.   I am frustrated that few people are willing to do adventure camps, underwater mobs, etc.  (Did you know there are underwater adventure camps featuring octopi with pets?  But watch out for the tidewalker behemoths!  and there is a nasty looking clan of goblins on the small islands)

Any input y'all may have about this would be great.  Is test server gonna be the place for me?

Mostly individuals.Ultimately, no effect.Still primarily less than 100 players on at a given time. Highest level groups in the lower to mid thirties. There are now a few individuals who are higher than that, but the groups are still low to mid thirties. And there are 2 or three complete groups of 6 on Saturday night in that range.~Eva

I had been playing test for a while and transferred my other characters here. One was in the middle of her armour quest. I can see from my /who searches that I am not going to find it easy to get a group together to complete it. Only 8 people in Antonica last night....only 1 other in TS. It's kinda quiet here, which I like, but if you are coming here thinking it will be any easier to get groups, it really isn't.

That said, I'm up for Zarvonn's. I have a shard at the top of the tower that wants retrieving!

Sacha (and anyone else for that matter) I will be moving my main character to Test come Tuesday,  If you need help with the armour quest I would be happy to help.  My character is a 26 warder named Giddasay.  I am stuck on AQ3 myself.

I am on most every evening and during the day as well on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

It is our serverwide chat channel and makes finding groups and new friends a lot easier.

What Kwoung said! I've got 13 characters on Test now to run as many of the archtypes  and races as I can. I don't have any higher than 15 yet, but the chat is always full. People setting up quest groups all the time as well as almost instant tradeskill help.
It does feel empty though, I'm usually on evenings. Only one or two in same zone and often have them all to myself, even after the first round of moves. So come on in and help us give it a good run!

Two of my characters should be on their way to TC today. SMILEY

Fairly low level but I thought it would be easier than starting from scratch yet again heh. Looking forward to getting to know the TC community.

I sent my 20 Templar over today, and hope to be able to form or join some groups for aq and such. Will join test channel and see how it goes from there.

I played my 13th Sumoner in Freeport for an hour tonight and it was very quiet as always. Saw three other people, all soloing.

Went to the Broker in my usual fruitless search for spell upgrades and there were 4 pages of items, all being sold by a single player.

So, business as usual as far as i can see.
