Quote from the first published ruleset for the upcoming PvP server:
A character that would normally be invisible or stealthed to you will appear with a shadowy outline if within a specified range (currently 30m). Characters that would normally be visible to you (i.e. if they are significantly below your level or you can see-stealth or see-invis) will remain visible with the shadowy outline outside of this range.
Actually bad news for all Scouts. But for Assassins more than for others (did I hear somebody calling out "Rangers!!1" ?)

Sooo... does that mean they're gonna be targetable and can see the character's name above his head?If so that's just stupid...

[Removed for Content], this game is like a continueous ongoing nerf to assassin'sthe root changethe negatives in damage for a shorter recasttaking away the ability to cast murderous design on your pet or another class' pet (btw, other classes can cast their buffs on pets still, inquis buff to necro pet for ex... but not us)my eyes are bleeding..

erm sry, but what did you all exepted if you play an assa or an other scout/invis class on the pvp server? move the daylong invis trough the world and kill people or what ?

Based on the fact that 95% of our damage attacks are based on being invis then uh yea, i'd say we kinda thought they would let us not be seen.

This is about the same as saying rangers will not be able to equip bows when fighting on PvP.

I guess it'll make some of the fights where 2 classes stealth, and run around like [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] go away.
 
As long as they can't click on me, therefore targeting me, then I don't really mind this change that much.

It doesn't matter a differance really. It's that way now, no way to see us without the help of a certain buff.I don't get it, why would they do this and make it easy for the out of encounter AE classes take an advantage? Everyone's starting to get word of this one item that lets them see us SMILEY... Maybe they should remove that item from the game if they're just gonna make it easier on the PvP to... well... to PvP stealth classes...

Heh, never been attacked by a stealth mob... But invis mobs.... there's some of those, especially in Lavastorm back in the low levels of my days. Now I hardly see any in the new zones in DoF.

if you've never been attacked by a stealth mob, you haven't finished the ring of fate quest. surprised me to all hell the first time, was a lot of fun though.
