Anyone know of a dps calculator for EQ2 yet? I used a stopwatch and calculator on the computer the other day and got ~28 dps. This was taken on an orange ^^ in the Ruins of Varsoon at level 22 dual weilding a Dragoon's Dagger and a Great Spear of the Hunt(1.2s and 2.4s delays respectively) and at around 3/4 of my total power. Feedback on whether this is decent or not is appreciated.

I saw a post the other day with a link to a parser that gauged real-time DPS.  Alas, I cannot find it ><  Still looking.

But here is one that does a simple calc for you just to give you an idea of what weapon is better than what...

Had some time tonight so I did a quick update to the parser. It now includes damage done by arts and spells (Spells not tested but in theory should work).

heres an example output:

Total Time Spent Fighting:  433 Seconds
Total Melee Damage Inflicted:  6809
Overal Melee Damage Per Second:  15.7
Ripostes Count:  15
Parry Count:  47

Arts and Spells:
Crazed Swing: 1416
Mangle: 300
Wound: 672
Sword of Battle: 40
Reckless Counter: 202

Total Art and Spell Damage: 2630
Overal Damage: 9439
Overal Damage per second:  21.79

Download here (includes source):

BOOM!  Haven't used it yet myself - hopefully I can get time this weekend.

Here is a simple DPS calc.

((MinDmg+MaxDmg)/2)/Speed

Thats Min Damage +Max Damage

Total / 2

Answer / Wep Speed

Parsed DPS would only be acurate for the given mob yout facing. You would need to account for mob AC or Peirce/Slash resist. This calc is an accurate representation of "Unajusted DPS".

yes, but the calculation doesn't take into account our special attacks... which make up most of our DPS output. Nor does it take into account poison. There are many factors that go into DPS. The best way I've found to get your Max DPS is to choose certain fights while solo and grouped that represent a 'normal' opponent for your lvl. Completely unload during these fights. Take at least 3 samples and check the DPS from the logs yourself. You can get a solo and grouped representation of max DPS. Probably the most reliable way to do it.
