I have used evac 3 times today in combat to escape a mob. Each time, it teleported the mob too SMILEY Kind of defeats the object of escape. This happening to anyone else?

Had this happen once with the octopus that attacks you during the first TS stage of Hadden's Earring quest.

Only times I've had this happen is with ring event mobs (octopus in TS, riana/veela in feerrott)  and mobs that close to the evac point ( huuptics in feerrott and gorehorns in RE).

Ive noticed it happened always with the goblins on the bridge in runnyeye when I used to xp there. However the mobs did not evac with the group but rather jumped off the bridge down to the bottom floor by the entrance. If you use evac there, it will happen everytime.

That might be it, although it did seem as though the mobs appeared as soon as we did.

That's because you appear before you have control.  The server knows where you are, even if the client hasn't finished loading yet.
