I picked Sol Ro. I think the +spell damage cloak gives the best bonus to a Troubadour. They also get the funniest pet SMILEY

I went for Quellious, just to try it. But the quests do include a lot of meditating.

Ooo, what pet is that?I went with Rallon Zek just for the comedy fat guy pet, but I think that's FP only.

Yeah I did Quellios too. Only for the reason that I liked the miracles and blessings that I could use at raids. Some other gods seem to have nicer effects for soloing and putting out damage, but I think my choice will pay off. Yes, lots of meditating and running around for that quest:smileyhappy:

I went Sol Ro, cloak adds spell damage, the imp pet adds +28 int and while some of the abilities are useless for us there's a couple of good ones, including  a 10 minute Maestro like ability where you proc heat damage on every spell.

I went with Quellious here at first.  The Pet adds +22 WIS.  I guess Id rather have the +28 INT, Im thinking of switching.

went quellious here... sure the 20 whatever wisdom doesnt really help us all that much, but i like the last miracle and i believe its the 4th blessing

5th tier micale:
stuns caster for 20seconds
increases power of group members by 5% per tick for 20 seconds

Sounds like the fellow for PvP!  Please tell me he isn't Qeynose side only?

Trying Tunare to see how the group heals work - think it would be fun to ocassionally (although rare) throw in that big needed heal.  I actually like the little +AGI +WIS pet though I want the diaper guy!If it turns out I don't like it I will switch to Quellious

I went Brell.  I feel that all of the gods are basically pointless to a troub, so I went with the most useless.

Surely a pet that gives you 28 INT has some use?  Are his miracles sucky?

I'm going from what I remember (don't really care to check)
 
-miracle gives 15% bonuses to all crafting skills and I think 25 to mining (except for transmuting and tinkering)
-Spell that does 2500-5500 PBAoE DD and DoTs for 200-700 every 3 seconds (6 second duration) (max 15 mobs)
-miracle that increases progress and durability of a crafted item by ... 2500 (I think)
-Spell that summons (I think) 8 or 10 mobs (It's like undead tide)
-DD single target spell that does a lot of damage (forgot exact number)
-Spell that heals the group for 30% of max health
-Something that summons a pet hammer
-Something that summons a pet pick axe
 
The pet adds 12.5 (I think again) to Sta and Wis (My Int is 420 and my Agi is 454, I'm not worried about either)
The cape adds Regen X and summons a lvl 1 drink (woot!)

I took Inny simply because you can solo all the quest.  The pet is a little mummy "Minion of Hate" that adds 10 or 11 to STR and INT.

Some of the blessings and miricles he gives are not so useful to Troubs, but others kinda follow in our line.  One that he gives is a mez that last 45 seconds and on termination inflicts 5k-8k mental damage (unsure exact damage amount)

Another summons 4 pets you can control for 10 minutes

The rest have seemed pretty much useless to me.  One that increases your hate, one that heals group members over time...and the only other that caught my eye was one that heals caster for 30% of max health and wards you for 28k of all damage (not sure if thats the right number, but it was some ungodly amount close to that) and then heals you for 100% on termination. The spell last 1 minute, but it will only proc if you die =(  and only has a 1 minute timer on it.  So if your going down, and ya throw this up it could save you, but if someone else draws agro before you die its pretty much a waste of a blessing.

Half are, but you find equal amounts of useless abilities within all the gods. The ones that aren't based off heat spells are still good, including the pets.

Couple of things Meds... first, the cloaks aren't available until level 70, so i wouldn't base any decision on them since you are leveling more slowly with PvP as a principle focus. Further, within the same light, certain deity abilities are only attainable after completion of quests (1 per tier basicly), so many aren't available until your 40s, 50s and/or 60s. I'm not certain what your intentions are for leveling your troubador, but I thought it might be important to warn you about your deity choices.

Pets cool?  Got one on my hot bar but not used yet.  They just last for the encounter or set length of time?

The pets that follow you just add buffs.  I do know if you roll Inny, you get to summon 4 pets that follow you around for 10 minutes.  They are controled just like the Necro pets...just a lil pet box with the attack, back off...etc   They are not to bad either, they cant tank a mob, but they throw out quite a bit of dps for 10 minutes =)

Mine went with Cazic Thule (not Qeynos I know) and he turned out to be a surprisingly fun choice so far for a troubador. The blessing that increases damage & resistability for mental spells is what drew me to try the Faceless, but theres lots of other great stuff in there. All the fear based powers have either a root or a 99% slow on them to make them very safe crowd controls to use. Plus there's multiple pets at 3rd Tier: A horrific looking Flesh thing that lasts for 10 min (fully controllable), & Swarm of Dumbfire pets as a Miracle. The final tier features a 10 min duration charm blessing which looks like it will go a long way to taking some of the pain away from our heavily nerfed class charm. Cant argue with that.The nonfighting perma Thule pet gives Int & Wisdom bonuses which also is worthwile to a Troub.
