I just want to say that I think that SOE did an poor job of giving us RP things...  I want a /sing so I can make songs up, In SWG they show in a roundish, song bubble. I would also like an emote of play my lute or Drum...Come on SWG, if you want the game to be more than a hack and slash, rinse, repeat, you have to give us things like this to do.Just a rant... Go Us!

That'd be awesome! I would also like looping emotes where we would play music or dance, and keep doing it for a long duration.

I would like them to give usa blank sheet of music, and we set the speed and all that and make our own songs kinda like a midi thing then play em on desired crafted instrument, lute, drums, flute and maybe grab a few bards and make a band, i'd literaly explode if i could even make my own music

I love to RP sometimes, and the tools we have SUCK.How hard would it be for a looping Macro of say /play drum /play lute /play danceHeck, even AC2 had /playsong 1 - 9 that ment that if a group gathered and say I did a /play lute 8  and another did /play drum 8 it would play the lute line and drum line to a piece of music. It was real cool. All in all, as much as I enjoy EQ2, they really dropped the ball on the little things.

Something like this would be nice:

There are times that I really miss my SWG entertainer.

I totally agree, beeing able to make music in any way would be nice. It does not even have to be as complex as the midi thing olduserf thought about, in the way of AC2 or even SWG would be totally OK. Or they could combine it with crafting, getting instruments made my carpenters or woodworkers and the higher the tier the more songs you are able to play on it. (of cause this is unrealistic, but this would be on possible explaination why to get higher tier instruments). But if there are craftable instruments, this could bring back the old thing, that a bard needs instruments to play his buffs....
