Ok, I need some hope for the future. When grouping with people and trying to get em to use the very complex/confusing HO system for its mediocre results I find that many of my group HO's require the "mask" symbol. Currently my only mask-skills require me to go into stealth or re-cast a buff, in any case they take a long time to cast...causing the HO's to fail I'm only level 34, is there a skill in my future that is fast-enough to pull of the HO's that require a mask?

At level 40 you receive Breathtaking Bellow.   It is instant cast and uses no power.  It is an encounter based interrupt and is wonderful for stopping priest mobs in mid-cast.  Best of all it is a 'mask' skill.

It will be more difficult for you to finish those HOs until you reach level 40, but once you get there...

Just remember that you will have to use it a LOT in order to raise your subjugation skill enough where it isn't constantly resisted.

A few of the buff songs use the mask icon as well which would be better for your level.

Once you get the insta cast interupt you'll be using that one whenever possible for HO's. Mez is also a mask and I usually use that when bellow is charging.

I use walk lightly.  Its a long cast but I always have it ready and I'm pretty vigilant with my HO's.  Its also a good opportunity to land a luckblade when you come back from stealth.

I do realize this post was done close to 2 months ago, but at lvl 34, you should have quite a few.  Most of our buffs use the mask, including many low lvl ones.  Im currently at lvl 46, use only a couple depending on which buffs I have with that particular group, but you should have Quirons (HP regen), Ditty line (Self Agi/Int buff), and Group Sta/Str buff at your disposal.  If all else fails, you should have your Walk Lightly and Run Speed ones, as well.  Remember to examine you spells, and possibly put them in a hot bar that you will recognize/remember during battle...though improved, you cant always rely on your CAs to flash at you.

One of my main reason for making a Trouby was to help buff my group, and manipulate HOs.  Ive played in too many pickup groups that not utilize it, or only start and complete their own.  This way I have a chance trigger certain buffs and increase dmg output.  As a scout, you should learn everyones HOs (ie Fighters Crushing Anvil vs , Sky Cleave) so that you can change it to best suit the situation OR can just spam your attacks like I see most ppl do.  =)
