![]() Probably the most standard swash one that I've heard is: Wis 4 - 4 - 4 - 8 - 8 Spending the last two points as you wish. I'm planning to spend them on Wis 3 I think. Though partially this will depend on what happens post LU 23 nerf. |

![]() Going down the INT and STR line. INT because 100% FD is extremely useful in almost any situation. Not to mention the many deaggroe buffs we get so we can go all out on rare poisons, and all of our DPS/Proc buffs. STR because of the advantage of debuffing a mobs special attacks and increasing ones crit chance. Message Edited by Atmosphear1993 on 04-21-2006 12:03 PM |

![]() Wis 4-4-4-8 Str 4-4-4-8-8
Wis line is FotM right now, don't know how it will be after LU23... Both str and agi line is good but with weapon restriction they can't be used at same time, unless you find a rapier-sword... I don't know if they exists. Sta line is great for solo/tanking. Can't really say anything for int line since they are just for reducing agro and FD... Overall scout AA is pretty good. Just go with the path you like. |

![]() I went STR basically for Torporous Strike, was thinking INT for the deaggro (yeah, even with deaggro poison and such I can still pull raid aggro) initially but thought Torporous Strike would be better than me eeking out a couple hundred more DPS for raid survivability. I don't use a sword, I use a rapier, I just ignore the first AA attack. Yeah, it's wasted points, but meh. |

I see, well I can say that all my points in AA are being used, which is what I wanted to do. This is reason why I didn't wanted to go down 2 different weapon type line. ![]() |

![]() I'm hoping post LU23 the Wis line is still worthwhile, as long as the dps is about the same as DW I'll probably keep it - I dig the 1 hander look. Plus the Wis line can be mixed with any other line except Sta and you can still use both lines abilities simultaneously granted you have a 1 handed version of whatever 2nd AA line you choose. Currently Wis 4-4-4-8 Str 4 |

![]() Replace Torporous with Trauamtic btw. Going down STR line for Torporous Strike would be sort of a waste ![]() |

![]() Have you used Traumatic? You should give me an insight if you did... To me, Traumatic sounds better then Torporous. After all if mob casts less, you have less crits to worry about. Also, if traumatic sucks I would get Coule. Message Edited by Geero on 04-21-2006 04:00 PM |

![]() Traumatic is muuuuuch better than Torporous. Torp gives you a pretty insubstantial debuff, Traumatic extends raid AEs by like an extra 50%. Imagine instead of a 30 second joust you get a 45 second joust. Or even just on normal CAs, makes healing the tank much better. It's good enough that I make sure I go in before the DPS call and get it on as soon as the mob is pulled. |

Im still working out what I will finalize mine at.. So far the most common is the Wisdom-Str build. Although I may end up going with the Wisdom-Stamina build even. All really depends on my mood that day.. By the way.. Try to figure out what you want soon as you can.. Hehe. Im already saving up money again so I can respec again if I want to. Ive used the Freeby respec and just started the 13p respec's... Figure I can make that back in a few days if I really try. If not no biggy Im just stuck with the template I currently have till I get money again.

![]() For a swashy who likes to solo mostly which would be a recommendation? I don’t mind using a shield, going 1 handed or two handed. I just would like to see what people feel have been the best for a mouseketeer on his solo adventures… I want to live.

![]() Wis 4-4-4-8 Str 4-4-4-4-1 Proably be one of a few wis swashies left after they fix teh broken Wis line. Getting traumatic strike because i'm in a raid guild, and it's very handy skill. Wis line was taken for a change, but became too powerful, and now its time for it to be fixed. I predit alot more str/int swashies in the future. |

![]() Hehe, I'm taking the exact same as you, but you have some points unaccounted for.I'm going to finish as:WIS 4-4-4-8STR 4-4-4-8-1Was thinking about putting the extra points in Torporous instead of crit percent but it's just not useful enough as far as the debuff and I really prefer rapiers to swords, even though I'm doing STR line for Traumatic. That does leave one point unaccounted for, might just throw it into INT for the hell of it. |

![]() Was thinking about going 4-1 in int line to get an extra sneak..though it would make torp useless, or a weapon switch required to use boot dagger... |

![]() I have this set up. Pickpocket Wisdom 4-4-4-8 Intelligence 4-4-4-4-8 Agility 4-1 I have this set-up for many different reasons. First of all, i did not choose which line based on stats, because we use every stat there is... (int for poisons, wisdom for resists, sta for hp, and str/agi (duh) ) I chose wisdom first because of the double attacks, and although they are gettin ''nerfed'' they will still be better dps than DW. And because fencer fits who I roleplay my character as. I didn't bother getting Coule because it didn't seem worth it and i would rather have FD. Intelligence line I chose for the FD, but I did fall in love with the boot dagger invis (great for brazening) Also the hate decrease allows me to go all out on the mob usually without drawing aggro from the tank. Finally i chose agility for the "walk the plank" move. Because I like to invent leet combos to use to solo heroics, and a good one can be done with this move. (walk the plank - wait .5 sec - cheap shot - boot dagger - brazening - lung puncture, plunder, then guile or a master strike.) Works great for taking down ^^^ named while disarming sneer is still down. I just have a hotkey for a crappy rapier to use for the one move, then a hotkey to pull back out my dagger. I really enjoy soloing because i find it the most challenging / fun thing to do in the game (raiding is boring). So with the increase to dps and utility i get from this template i can solo with ease.:smileyhappy: Message Edited by Dakkon_1007 on 04-24-2006 07:42 PM

![]() nice combo, however I would use the master strike earlier in the sequence, then you get the 700 point mit debuff for longer. |

![]() I saw a couple people mention they are going to do the below for STR line for the traumatic swipe. STR 4-4-4-8-1 and also Str 4-4-4-4-1 Was this a typo or can you get the final STR skill Traumatic swipe with only spending 1 achievement point?

Believe that is a typo. You must spend 8 points to get the last skill in an AA line.

![]() Depends on how you are looking at it. Most peole list things as points spent, in which case it's a typo. However, if you look at it as levels bought, then the 4-4-4-4-1 is correct.

No no, that's not possible. I've only been wrong once. The time I thought I was wrong and turned out to be right.

![]() Last skill doesn't really matter as long as they know you're taking it since it's the same for everyone. For instance, I'm taking STR 4-4-4-4-YAY! in the new metric AA numbering system.
