I've been using my lvl 20 Class Quest armor and I think it's time for an upgrade. I just dont' know what sets are best for Swashies 30 + . I know the Prestine Feysteel was GREAT for my Tank at level 30.   Any suggestions ?? Full sets only please.

with the current ease of leveling...and if you are not in a raiding guild...treasured droped armor is good enouth...if you are in a guild...raid coldtooth, grimfeather and hit the Deathfist citidal for drops and masters...i cant rember if the X2 splitpaw instance scales that low or not, but again  if you are in a guild with he numbers....run through it a few times as well.

Agree with Admundforth.

You can level through your 30s with relative ease, but if you plan on spending some time in the tier 4 zones and doing a few HQs and raids, etc., then I can wholeheartedly recommend that feysteel chainmail armor you were looking at.  Great stats, great mitigation.  At the very least I would consider the chainmail coat and leggings for their proc effects.  The Lambent and Sanguine imbues offer a healing proc, which actually procs quite often, and a damage proc on mobs that hit you.  It not a lot of damage but the healing proc has helped me out more than a few times.

Other than that, the Dwarven Work Boots should be useful throughout your 30s and, on a side note, the Polished Granite Tomahawk also offers an awesome warding proc along with bonus STR buff.

FYI, you can probably find the feysteel coat and leggings for around 60-80g on your broker.  Of course, direct shopping is always best.

An opinion from my limited 39 levels,

from memory, and don't forget some scout wear leather for the added avoidence, Hammer at the Zek Docks offers some very easy quests with lvl 31 leather as reward, you can do 6 quests for him and get 6 different pieces of armor of your choice. These are better than common crafter armor, and again from memory, have pretty good stats on them, as was said eariler, you will not really spend too much time in teir 4, better to save up for ebon or even cobalt. Though I would definately suggest getting PGT and a Feysteel Pierce weapon.

How do I go about getting the PGT?  I had it on my Warrior in EQL way back and would love to get it here.  Also I have a full suit of Feysteel chain and was wondering if the dwarven workboots were worth getting and how do I get them as well?

Heritage Quests, my friend.

Dwarven Work Boots quest is called These Boots are Made For... and is started at the Keep of the Ardent Needle in Antonica from the dwarf Hwal Rucksif.  If you already have feysteel chainmail boots then they aren't worth getting, unless, of course, you want some status points, in which case they are.

The Polished Granite Tomahawk is obtained after completing the Heritage Quest "An Axe from the Past," which is started by talking to the giant Obsid Boulderboom in the south west of Thundering Steppes.  You will need to first learn the giant language by collecting 6 giant idols and then completing "Little Tarby Lost" for Obsid before he gives you the item needed to start the HQ.  Definitely a weapon worth getting for us swashies.

Good luck!
