I've seen this asked on almost every other class board but havent seen it here and cant find which skills are included in the lvl 24 pick for swashies.

So what are they? I'm sure others could use this information too. :smileyhappy:

Ah, Thanks for that info...now the question is what is a good choice each time? Perhaps we can get some input from others on what they picked and why.

well since most are not a whole lot better than the adept 3's i had  i took more ae's and self buffs over direct attacks and back stabs....of course ive soloed 80% from 1 to 60 so those that group more will prob have taken other master 2's

After seeing how much difference having decent AoE's I'll probably do the same, AoE and self-buffs through my career. I took the buff at level 14 because 26 STR was just too good to pass up. Solo mostly here too.

Pillage is definately the best. It's what I picked, espcially since Master 1 of my AOE was already in my book and easily obtainable.

Yeah, I love my Brilliant swathe (AoEs in general) but it's too little too late.. by level 54 I had had the Adept III version for 6 levels! Too late to go back and upgrade that one just to Master II. Thus, I would say Pillage is basically the nobrainer unless you manage to get your hands on a Master I before then, in which case I guess runner-up is Uncanny Reflexes... and that's not saying much. I guess I could comment also -- Level 24 Flamboyant Swathe - I took this because at the /respec, I already had Adp3 Unfriendly reminder, but if you didn't, that would probably beat out the AoE at this level. Level 34 Rakish Swathe - Easy pick IMO, but then, I really love my AoEs. I would see Kidney Blow as being a really good alternate pick of you group a lot -- 10 sec recast, good damage and great mit debuff. Flanking only tho. Level 44 Flash of Steel --   Bladeweaver was tempting, and so was Razor, but in the end, I took Flash for two reasons. a) insane 10 second reuse time means it gets used much more than Razor, and b) I tank a lot when duoing with my GF, so Master II DPS debuff > Master II parry debuff. Level 54 Pilliage - see above post.

I guess I fight a lot differently than others since I really don't rely on my AoEs much. Going solo I find my character at his peak when taking on solo mobs, since I get to use the whole arsenal of openers and other combat arts. Not to mention that we have so many builtin debuffs. That being said my choices this far have been the backstab at 24 and Kidney Blow at 34.

I wasn't sure what to take at 34 first, but soloing you just can't beat Kidney Blow. Open up with ambush, backstab and KB, then 10 seconds later you can Cheap Shot and toss another KB at the mob (if it's still alive). The increase in dps and the added debuff is not marginal.

Maybe it's different in groups and maybe others have sweet spots to exp off grouped mobs, personally I haven't gone that route SMILEY

Well I just hit lvl 24 and took Flamboyant Swathe as my Master II. Doing 367 max dmg is really sweet against the group mobs. I have almost all my other skills at adept I already.

My Fear ot Taking Flamboyount Swathe is that at my level I have to be very careful of my AOE's. I tend to pull Aggro Off too many tanks and dropping a high level AOE with knockdown tends to bring me aven more. if the tank wasn't taunting them all properly.

I solo a lot, & have found that upgrading AoE attacks to Master 2 has helped a LOT. You just have to be careful about using them, but if you pay attention, you shouldn't get in too much trouble, & if you do, you can always Escape.
