Kualdin Swoonsong

I know it's a popular thing to say, but: I'm really sick of Kualdin Swoonsong.

He's always showing up in the Willowood to do impromptu performances. I don't think he can get a gig anywhere, so he just hangs out in the park and pretends it's been approved by the Willowood Chamber of Commerce. There's no way he'd last a minute pulling a stunt like that in Qeynos - rumor has it Antonia Bayle banned him from the city proper.

Everyone hates him. Even Steward Kiona, and she's never said an unkind word to anyone in her entire life. He was kinda cool and all back when he performed at Antonican Idol twenty season's ago. But, now he's just a washed up has-been. He doesn't even look the same anymore. His nose is completely different, and he's way more pale than he used to be. People say he's hired an enchanter to change is facial appearance.

At least he's not wearing that ONE white forged carbonite glove anymore.

lolol. i [FAAR-NERFED!]ing love you. you just made my day. you're roleplay and your character and your site is hallarious and just plain great. you've totally inspired me to do the same thing as you...maybe I'll actually start enjoying EQ2.

I wish you were on Lucan D'Lere. I could always use another cool male bard friend. I love to run so we could have jogs together through all the different continents. Some places like Everfrost are really beautiful and romantic. And by jogging I mean running around and laughing at/mocking all the people not cool enough to be a dirge and get 40% run speed. You could also help me deliver mail to Qeynos. I can't stand my boss. Sometimes I want to just kill him...which I totally could because he's only level 23^^. With my agility, he wouldn't ever even touch me. My step-dad made me take the job. He's soo hung up on bard traditions and extremely conservative. it's soooo annoying! My dad is a scrub ( i call all troubadours scrubs...long story) and he thinks me being a dirge is just a "phase" and that all kids experiment sometimes. He actually fainted when I came home with piercings all over my face... So I went and got my little hell hole of an inn room...I do have Raventear, but he really smells funny =/

Oh, and about that Swoonsong. I can't stand him either. The other day I was sitting out in the lobby of the Inn just chatting with Bartender Honeysuckle while I was restringing my guitar and that Swoonsong comes over to me and gets all in my face. He's like /tell tianya, "So can I expect you to be at my upcomming concert??? My voice has grown even more wonderous and the concert is sure to be one remembered for all ages." and I was like /glare Kualdin, but he just kept on yacking at me! The dirge in me just wanted to plunge my dagger into his throat right there on the spot. AND THEN HE TOOK MY GUITAR RIGHT OUT OF MY HANDS! I'm sure I don't have to tell you how extremely taboo it is for a bard to snatch another bard's instrument without their permission, regardless of the circumstances. That was the last straw, I got up immediatly and was about to /duel Kualdin but then I remembered that there's no PvP. Trying to be a good Qeynosian, I grabbed back my guitar, POKED (regardless of how he remembers the incident...the crybaby) him with my dagger, and went to my inn room and held a concert for my kitty, Dissonance. I wouldn't be surprised if one day he ended up missing... At least he doesn't yell at me everytime I pass him in Willow Wood anymore.

Anyways, I've gone on forEVER. Keep up the dirging!

Maybe one day, we'll throw what us Dwarves call a "Kaladim Blanket Party" for Kualdin. That'll teach him! HAH!

Sadly, Kualdin may never understand how truly disliked he really is.

I think he feeds off all the attention, whether it's positive, negative, or a POKE in the back with a Badlands Stiletto.

We may never meet for that run on the beach ForsakenFyre, but perhaps someday we'll scribe an up-tempo pop number together
