I'm not unfamiliar with pets as I have a necro alt, so I was surprised when I cast my new pet last night and it has no command window.    Even my wizard's familiar has a command window and it doesn't follow commands..lol    I have searched through the options and the help sections, but I can't find out how to bring up this window.

My question...does the window exist for Defiler pets...or do i need to create hot buttons for it?

Thanks much for your help.  :smileyhappy:

Heya mate,

ALT-P works for me and I haven't changed any of my original settings, so give that a try and hopefully it works for you.

Otherwise it may be your UI and is effectively 'invisable' - ie there but you have your background etc turned off.  I certainly hope this hasn't happened to you.

Happy Hunting!

alt + p will bring up pet window.  But don't think the dog is anywhere even remotely near a necro pet.  For 1 you can't buff the dog.  You can, but the effects do not get applied.  A lvl 60 dog pet has 1khp, a lvl 24 adept3 necro tank pet has 1,200hp.  IMO the dog isn't even worth using until they fix it or you get the aoe immune aa.

Thanks so much guys!    Alt P worked!  :smileyhappy:

Thanks for the additional info also.....Yes, I've figured out quickly it's not even close to the necro pet...lol   My defiler is 52 and I routinely duo with an ogre SK, so was hoping for something a little better than it is, especially since the AA's (AP's?) seem geared towards it.  Right now it's a disappointment.    It might add a bit of damage in our little group but certainly won't be good for soloing at all.  Hopefully they will rethink it.  Would be nice if it was midway between the necro pet and the familar....right now it's way to close to the familiar end of the spectrum..lol

Thanks again!

I had the exact same problem. In fact it was worse for me. I ASSUMED that our pet was not controllable, because I didn't see the pet window come up when I summoned it. In the interests of serving the newbies of the game (I am after all a newbie ^^) I see this as a bug myself, and have /bugged it in game.If it wasn't for this post I wouldn't have known, so I suggest whoever runs the show here take this one piece of advice:"The shaman pet does have a pet window. If you can't see it, try Alt P"and add it to the "Things which Defilers/Shamans need to know"

Had the same problem with my Illusionist alt. He made it to lvl 20 without knowing he can controll his pet personae...

Strange enough, as I tried the conjourer, I had the pet controll window from the start, not with my Illusionist and not with my Defiler as I cast the dog the first time...
