![]() Here is my projected setup of AA skills. I am currently only level 30 with a few AA, but I plan to get there sometime. 1 for DogDog Strength 4/8/4/4/8 Stamina 4/4 (for shield bash... nice little surprise for those freeps) Intelligence 4/4/4/1 (might drop a few from Leg bite to put in immunities) Now this is a set up for PvP mystic who is solo probably half the time, but raids and groups on occasion.

![]() I don't PvP, so take this with a grain of salt... I don't know why you are bothering with the strength line, or anything with the pet for that matter. Heck, even at level 70, he only has about 1000hps. While that old addage of "ignore the pet" is generally true, if I were fighting a PvP mystic, I would take out the pet first. It provides quite a bit of our dps, and is easily dispatched. One good shot from just about anyone will take him out. If it were me, and again I don't PvP, I would take abilities that would boost my dps independent of the pet. The agility line would be my first choice.

![]() Anyone that can do around 1k of AoE damage (barring PBAoE that Foresight does prevent) will kill your pet without having to target it. That means no more haste, no more aura of warding, no more leg bite, no more Immunities, no more Foresight... See where I am going? Better stick with stuff that are boosting you, like crit melee, crit heals, shield bash, etc. (This also from the point of view of a non-PvPer...) Message Edited by Loralor on 07-11-2006 05:29 AM

![]() I believe Leg bite is also an interrupt. Too valuable to give up. PVP fights last about 10 seconds, interupts and stuns/stifles are huge.
If you are group pvping, no one bothers with your pet. I don't have Foresight yet (only a 51 mystic) but my pet survives the majority of pvp as long as I do. |

![]() I have only had my dog targeted and killed one time. Every other fight he either survives with me, dies after i do, or gets hit by random AOE. Thats why i'm going for the spiritual awareness line.

![]() First disclaimer, Im not a pvp'er. Im not even a heavy dueler. But the one thing I did see was that you were putting 4 points into our shield bash. If you wanted this skill strictly for the knockdown effect, why put 4 points into it? I just see those 3 extra points being better placed to increase your/your pets survivability or your dps as the reuse timer on shield bash is also fairly long.

I figure 4 points to up the debuff effect that they get if dog attacks them while they are knocked down.

![]() Ahh ok, I figured the "surprise" was the knockdown and you werent going for a debuff. On the brite side, your attack also triggers the debuff, not just the dogs.

Look into the agi/sta lines as well as dropping points into immunities.. these are your pvp lines.
