![]() Currently at 45, with my buffs, I got it up to 231. I thought the more wis we have, the more power we will get, but doesn't seem to be true... didn't see a huge jump in power for me. Any ideas ? |

94 Wis at lvl 45. Yeah I suck, but then again I've never been wrapped up in Wis. Maybe I'm just stuck in my EQ1 Shaman mentality of HP/AC > Wis (Shaman was my alt .. I actually played a Magician heh).
In my experience at lvl 45, 1 Wis = 3 Power. |

![]() The OP's wisdom value does seem a little suspect. None of our buffs actually give any wisdom, so....with all of my wis gear plus an imbued bloodstone ring with the Gleam of Wisdom castable buff my wisdom is 203 at level 50. Once your wis gets above 200 (maybe even lower) the return on power per wisdom point diminishes by a lot. This is true for all stats, they're soft capped. I wouldn't bother trying to focus too much on + wis gear once you get in the 190 range. I'd focus on other stats that you've neglected, as they all play a role in a well-balanced character. Regards, |

![]() sorry, let me make myself clear as what i meant by self-buffed, and my wis is really that high. No bluffing. 1. Anicnet Oath Buff 2. Imbued Ring Buff 3. Potion Buff And yes, we do have our own spell that buff our wis at lvl 40. The one and only one. I am a wis freak , so every single part of my equipment has wis on it. My weapon has +18 wis. Also at the bracelet part, you can get the Bracelete of Wrethed, which is +8wis, which is hard to find. And ya, hi Eloora, the no.1 mystic

![]() And yea, with my wis equipments, unbuffed, wis = 210. Really thought wis is the most important thing for healers, but I guess im wrong. |

I see what you're saying now. And the reason I said we had no buffs for wis is because my guild required me to take the group cure at that level, and I didn't bother to look at what I'd be missing. The group cure (except for maybe trauma) are infinitely more valuable than any of the other choices if you ever plan on killing mobs harder than exp trash. Wisdom is still the most important stat for a priest, you're not really wrong. It's just that, as I said, it is soft capped like all other stats at 200, and only gives about 1.5 power per wisdom point. Sure, you can raise it till the cows come home if that makes you happy, but you'll have a diminished return for your efforts. I don't know what kind of guild you're in or what content you're killing, but if you are raiding or will be soon, I'd suggest refocusing on power regen items. I have about 4 or so items that give me power regen in and out of combat. I haven't gone out of power since like January thanks to rather unchallenging end game content, but if I was having trouble with power, power regen is what I'd focus on, not wisdom. |

![]() Power regen > *
If you are regen'ing fast enough it doesn't matter how big your overall pool is. That said, a larger pool does in fact yield a faster regen.

At 50 with GEBS, Robe Invoker, and Prismatic your in battle regen is +52. With most raid + crafted items and some other class wis buffs you'll hit the 200 softcap easy (the prismatic has +10sta +25wis and a couple epic idols have +18 +22wis) So, I started working on Stamina and Agility for my next focus of items.

![]() Yap power regen is sweet, but I got none >< 250 on wis is doable now, with 2 +12wis doll. But with 250wis, don't really see any positive effect, I think with more agi and stuff, at least i get to have a higher avoidance rate and with more wis, doesn't seem to make me any smarter or more effective heal at any way.. |

Practically and in normal situations - my WIS is 205, total power 2950. Level 50 Mystic here. This is just using personal spell buffs only, no potion usage. I'm using double Ancient Slayer Rings (+9), Tarton's Wheel (+10), Rallosian Chestguard (+12), Prismatic Sceptre (+25), GEB (+11), Tobrin's Eyepatch (+11), Manifested Terror Leggings (+9), and just one hex doll (+11) - I need to keep the other secondary slot free for Manastone. It is indeed possible to go higher than this - e.g. wearing Deidre's Pants (+9 WIS but higher power - not sure) - but IMO that's not much point, given the tradeoffs between power versus additional WIS points and the cost of the item itself. Also, one could get a second WIS doll, and consuming all kinds of food and potion buffs - but I honestly haven't found the need to do that yet. Power regen - as already stated elsewhere here - is everything.

I'm still a rather young mystic (well--pre-mystic, anyway), but I don't remember seeing any items that say anything about power regen. Is there a certain level at which these begin to appear? Or have they been marked and I misread them? Just trying to plan for the future :smileyhappy:

The power-regen items tend to become availabe via questing in the higher levels. For instance, Golden Efreeti Lords that you obtain via heritage quest, wearable from level 42 onwards, and gives +20 per tic power regen. There's also the Prismatic Sceptre of the Scale, given via a quest reward from Naggy for completing Deception, and gives +12 per tic power regen.
