Spirit of the Bat

Does this spell even exist in adept 1 form? Ive been checking the broker and the qeynos fence since I got the spell, and have never seen one. I suppose I should round up an opal to adept 3 it, but just annoys me to never see this adept 1.

I don't think this exists in adept 1 form - it's the "special" spell from the Bloodlines expansion pack. Check with your local sage with rare in hand to get this made into Adept 3.

This is one that stays white right?

If so, what tier does it fall into for scribing. The poster said an opal was needed. What's the other rare element for that tier that can be used?

Well I'm 54 and it's grey to me....but anyways it is a level 35 spell, which is T4. Spell making rares for T4 are Rough Opal and Ruthenium Cluster. I was thinking of making it adept 3 too. Can anyone post numbers, is it still a useless upgrade after combat changes?

I had it made todat to adept3 gives: Agility 18.9 Incombat regen 9.4 per tick max power by 98 Worth it to me. I have also got Back into the Fray made into adept3. this is a must this spell. I also made Thornskin into adept3 over bolt of storm. Thornskin just rocks Taylon 53 Najena

they sell the adept 3 quite cheap on my server, but i havent got the spell yet in my spellbook...

Yeah. You can buy spirit of the bat, even if you dont have the expansion. But if you want SoB in adept III form, then you need to have Someone who has the bloodlines expansion to make it for ya.

No I really don't think you did, I'm 99.999% sure it's app i, ii, iii, iv or adept iii only. Hell I'm not even sure you can make app i, ii, or iii. Anyway, there's no Ad1 or M1. SMILEY

The spell is T4 (recipe found in the lvl 35 K'Lorn sage book)... would need either opal or ruthenium for the ink

Actually you don't need the expansion - I dont have it and I can scribe Spirit of the Bat. What you do need is the K'lorn books for sage which are both available from the level 10 - 20 tradeskill instance.

I don't know if this makes a difference but I went to my local scribe in Castleview and bought language primer book for K'lorn. this may or may not help.

Are you sure the K'lorn language primer is sold in Castleview? I was unable to find it on the Scribe, hell, i didn't even know there was one. SMILEY

K'Lorn.... is not a language, it is a recipe book. Regular and advanced can be bought at whatever basic crafting instance you joined.

A useless spell? Any spell that gives in-combat power regen is far from useless in my book.
