Simple question. Does anyone know for *sure* if the 5 power regen on the character trait Lucid works in and out of combat, or just out of combat? I've asked tons of people, and so far it's about 50-50 on what answer I'll get. 'Lucid' is a permanent ability and not a spell. Intuition tells me it's out-of-combat only, but so many people have said the contrary, including level 50 Fury's.I would pick Lucid in a heartbeat if works in and out of combat, otherwise I will opt for the 2.5% power pool increase choice.I've already done /respec, so I cannot test this and change later. Any information would be appreciated, thanks.

![]() When I had those options pre-respec, they didn't work in combat. I did a little before/after the first time that they let us redo it (the time that everything was messed up and people started screaming for redo like 5 minutes after the server came up). I was the same +# each tick in combat before/after. It may have changed since then, but I doubt it. Frankly, just go with the extra % to power pool, as having a larger power pool also increases the amount that you regen each tick (as it is % based, not straight # based)

I'd always go with the larger power pool, when you're healing your [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] off, a few points faster in between combat won't make a difference.

![]() Bigger power pool gives more regen anyway. Every 25 is another point of regen out of combat, every 100 another in combat. As to Lucid, not sure on how exactly it works. If it is just a straight +per tick, then it most definately does not work in combat. If it is a 5% increase in your regen rate, well, only ever took it with my swashbuckler and hadn't bothered to analyze how regen works at the time. You should be able to find out if it is or not by observing the power regen of someone that has it. Make sure they aren't using any gear that tinkers with power regen and then see what their incombat power regen is. If it is (Powerpool/100) rounded, then it doesn't work in combat. For instance, a 3050 power pool will give 31 power per tick in combat. Replace that 100 with 25 and that'll give you base out of combat regen (just be sure no drink and regen boosting spells are used). If you check both those values, you should be able to identify whether or not the regen is full time, both in and out of combat, if it is a point or percent increase, and the amount.
