![]() my fury is only at level 21 and i hate really don't like grouping with berzerkers. granted, we were out in the steppes hunting centaur, but my heals could barely keep up with the damage being done once the zerk joined up. the paladin i could keep alive no problem. i'm casting effloresce and bloom at adept and regrowth at app4. personally, i always throw a regrowth on the tank while he's on his way back from pulling then crank out the effloresce when needed. for most of the yellow and yellow double up mobs i can usually sneak in a few chill or hammerwind/swarm shots as well. and for what it's worth, i love to tank.

![]() Zerks have their uses m8, in RunnyEye where their are many groups that have 4-5-6 mobs and a boss Zerks can be great, hitting all the mobs at the same time. if u have a warlock/wiz type then it can be awesome xping. things just drop so fast

![]() might just have been the situation then... everything we pulled was shiny and red, double up too... well, to me at least.

all that matters is the AC of the tank and whether they are using a shield. shields have a block rate.

![]() Anyone have any experiance of healing brawlers as a fury? Especially after big patch? I haven't had a brawler as MT, but my own brawler (level 17 now) seems to tank just as well or better then a plate tank of the same level. Especially with shamans (wards don't use AC) |

![]() Guess i'm wierd or something. I love zerkers as tanks. One of my good friends plays a pally and Im almost always grouped with him, but he can never hold the aggro like a zerker. I dont find that I have any trouble healing him or running low on power, and usually we are doing yellow cons, or yellow 2 arrow up cons. Maybe it had something to do with that persons equipment. /shrug

![]() Zerkers were/are bugged with Bloodlust, the red glowey that surronds the zerker when he is hit. Everytime this goes off this counts as a "buff" and bumps them to the top of the aggro list. The patched and lowered the amount of aggro/times this can be used, but they can still hold aggro better. My other half is a zerker and I have never died to losing aggro with him at level 39. Any other tank, I get aggro at least every other fight.

my husband is a zerk, and I duo with him about 50% of our playtime (the rest being FG situations). Here's what rocks about the zerk/fury combo -- he generates SO much aggro, that I only ever end up tanking when things go really south. The zerk proc, which goes off tons (and does again, after the patch) functions as a buff. And we all have firsthand knowledge of how much hate a buff can draw.On our first server, we played Monk/Fury duo and I tanked much much more.

![]() That Zerk must have had crappy armor. At 21 it's not very surprising since he can't have his full AQ suit yet. Also, if he is always on bludlust it makes things worse. They are really not so bad as long as they know when to use Bloodlust. For Brawlers, they make fine tanks, even before the patch....

![]() Just make sure the Zerker doesn't use their offensive skills that lower ac or that sacrifices their health for more damage when they are the main tank. That is a healers bane. Show them what Furys are all about and add some DPS by going into lion form and meleeing and by nuking a bit more instead of counting on the zerker to do all the damage. That should be more efficient and enjoyable in the end.

agreed...he was using a rather poor two-handed axe and his gear wasn't really up to snuff. i was just amazed at how much damage he was taking so quickly and the fact we were four levels apart just made the situation worse. for my money, in a group the best tank is always going to be a paladin, unless you're duoing, in which case i prefer a monk.
