![]() I have a question for all you raiding wardens. Has anyone who picked a defensive setup hit the magic 7k power number? Is it possible? I'm trying to pick items that will give me:
I'm close on power and am pretty sure it's possible but am not sure. Anyone else hit it and resists and would like to share which items? Atm with my meager equipment I'm only at:

![]() I run 7058 pow self buffed =) Regen is not maxed out though, but I have no issues with it despite that (probably a non-mt grp char would have though) gear: hoo'loh's hat of warding elder's tunic of nature shoulderpads of suffering elder's wristguards of nature gloves of fright elder's leggings of nature boots of hurricanes overflowing vessel of fyr'un samirah's mirror fated cipherblade mug of horror's flow vultak ritual doll sash of perdition band of superiority bracelet of thule ring of shadows dragonscale ring doomsworn solitaire mark of awakened intellect I have a couple upgrades still to get.. hat, ranged and one more ring (opreferably two rings though); for hat I wanna get chitin imbued skullcap (from crab), ranged want claymore of course, and second ring want vilucidae's ring of the fear-harvest (might've misspelled vilucidae). Sorry I can't give the item links for all that stuff, but you can get it yourself (/t crushbone.linky getitem all buffs are m1 as well aside from sotb of course, and I don't use pots or food, but I did /respec and pick up the +power traits instead of +regen. Sorry idk what my hp or resists sit at.. think all should be at least 5k but I'm prolly wrong heh most defintely are that high though.

I have maybe 2 sets of fabled armor plus my extra stuff I toggle in and out depending on the situation, I can't say I have a solid set of armor with solid stats because every raid I'm wearing something different eitherway I'll link my EQ2 profile and you can take a look. http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer.vm?characterId=135727117 |

![]() I have not been on my character since the end of May, but I will be back in the game in 2 weeks. I would list physical mitigation as a crucial stat too for a raiding warden. Anyways from what I remember with my raid gear on I have the cap on FT without the Godking/prismatic weapons. 4 - 7k on all resists, but gear can be arranged for different fights. 3.5k physical mit but if I putting on physical mit jewelry I can get to about 4k. About 320 Sta, 430 int (but can switch around for 510), str 100 = ( , agi 250, wis always above cap = P. Power is about 6900, Hp about 5500. I will have to wait till the end of the summer though to make sure that my memory is all correct. |

![]() okie found my full stats self-buffed heh 5.5k hp 7058 pow cold 4.2k div 4.6k mag/psn 5.8/5.6k rest range from 6.1k to 6.6k 3550 mit the not-so-great part: no stat even hits 300 barring wis which is 606 =/ the reason for this: I've been concentrating on +pow and not really checking stats and obviously all the best +pow gear I've seen that's healer-useable is saturated with wis heh

Would I be wrong in thinking that a couple of people here chose the 2.5% increase to max power over the 5 in-combat power regen? Maybe even twice?

I have a question about those common trait skills that every class gets. Does the 5 extra incombat power regen add on to what the power regen cap is or is it not?

I don't know. I may have to borrow a bard/chanter to test it. I have a feeling that I will be using my reforming wand after all though I will definitely wait for the expansion to hit first.

![]() Your trait choice fits into the regen cap. So 105 at 70 is a hard cap and you can't regen above that no matter what. I chose the 2 training options for max power pool for sure. It's easy to hit the regen cap, even with tier 5 and 6 items so there's no point in choosing regen if you raid. What I do is pick items for 64 regen self buffed and count on being in a group with a chanter or dirge so I can hit the cap. If we have a coercer and dirge then I switch out regen items for max int, stam and power pool. I see some people didn't go with max regen in their equipment choices. I'm so used to being at the regen cap I can't do without it. I've been addicted to regen items since RoI and Gebs back in t5 Message Edited by mikemcmodmike on 07-31-2006 11:32 AM |

![]() If given the chance to respec traits I'd be very tempted to go raw hp's at least once just because ours are so low. Personally I went once with power regen, and the second with power. Woodelfs also get a small % increase to power forgot how much though so that helps a little.

![]() There's a cap on how much regen you can get from items last I knew (52.5/53) so going over that is kinda pointless isn't it? And I used to be the same way about power regen.. couldn't imagine not having it capped but I very slowly started replacing the ft stuff with +pow items and noticed that I never really ever hurt for power in the mt grp, even when I die and get rezzed, as soon as my power hits 1-1.5k+ I can still function just fine (obviously no spamming heals but I can keep up st regen and usually toss in a vb here and there while my power builds back up). Soo.. I'm kinda disillusioned on ft atm.. if my guild ever decides to boot me outta mt grp I might change my mind though.. hopefully I won't find out though ;P edit: 0_o when did I turn into a lord? lol yaay for blue instead of purple! wait till you get MO tunic, I think i'm down to an arbitrary amount of FT now. it's purely incidental because the items i like happen to have iti do still use god-king weapon tho, so that's a pretty big chunkalso, i swap in some extra ft for chel'drak cuz it's usually a particularly power intensive fight where i'm not nuking enough

Regen cap from items is 52.5 so you need spells and traits to get you to 105. I'm not always in a group with a bard/chanter so I am not always capped. Like I said I will probably switch to the +% power when I respec.

![]() The cap is 53 for items for mana regen. The thing is spirit of the bat and trait choices don't factor into that total. I cast spirit on the bat which accounts for 10 regen and then I hit the 53 bringing me to 63 total. Then I count on a bard for the rest. If you cast spirit of the bat on the MT then maybe the trait power regen would be worth taking, but I chose to increase my power instead. |
