Hello guys...I'm not sure to post this in the warden section or the fury section so here goes.

I have a level 21 Fury atm and have noticed some pretty big changes at my level.  When I started playing my fury I really loved the heal over time spells combined with the smite and chill nukes we got.  Seems now that we are post LU19 the warden class got the chill spell and most of the heal over time stuff.

So I am wondering if this is what being a warden is all about?  Do the wardens get all the heal over time spells now and the direct damage nukes?  At a level 21 fury all my damage spells are DOT and I have one heal over time spell.  Everything else is a direct one time heal.  I really enjoyed HOT and DD aspect of my fury before the changes, now I just don't know what to do.  I have talked to some higher level furies and I know I do get some nice direct damage nukes in a couple of levels but still don't now if I get the heal over time stuff back.

Any and all help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what the lower levels are like. But later levels are........Furys: Burst Heals, Major Offensive Buffs, Hard-Hitting DD's.Wardens: Efficient HoT's, Major Defensive Buffs, Low DPS.

ah so basically to keep with my hard hitting DD spells I have to trade off my HOT stuff?  Hmmm to bad, I kinda liked having my cake and eating it too.   Well thanks so much for the fast reply.

If anybody else has more to add to this then please feel free.  I would love to get a complete picture of both classes before I make a choice of trying warden or staying.

Warden dmg isn't all that bad.. the issue with it is that you have to be constantly chain-casting to do your max damage which is pretty decent even with fairly low int. If you enjoyed chain-nuking and the added hots on all your heals, then warden prolly is for you; just know your damage won't be amazing but it won't completely suck either. If I were you, I'd play with the fury a bit more unless you're absolutely certain you want the 2 separate nuke lines and the addtional hots on your heals; I say this because since you lvlled up before lu19, you really have no true idea of what being a fury is about since the old druid class was more like a warden than it was like a fury.

Edit: I also posted in your thread on the fury forums with much more detail in regards to the two classes spells (mainly their damage spells).

Also important, wardens buff wis + power with their single target buff, Furies buff intell + power.

Actually, warden's dps is nearly identical to a fury's, it's just theirs is all upfront (just like their healing) where as ours is overtime.

their big nuke has a 3 second casting time and i thinhk a 15 second recast, where as ours is a 2 second casting time with about a 3 second recast, so we do have to focus more if we wish to maintaniour dps, but the exact opposit is true for them if they wish to maintain warden levels of healing.

Both classes are fairly well balanced really, but neither is incredible effective with debuffing foes, not really the druid branch's forte (funny enough, both clerics have more debuffs than either druid, though they will fight tooth-n-nail that they have no debuffs :smileywink: )

The main difference seems to me to be at lvls 50 and 52.  HG and tunare's watch are pretty useless while porc and BITF are not.  Male these 2 spells somewhat useful to us and I'd agree with you.

I'm a level 28 Warden. As I watched my spells being changed to fit LU19 I only noticed one change. We used to have an Earth DOT spell (which used to stack with our cold DOT). This has been replaced by a Fire DD. Other than that, all spells are the same as what we already had. i.e. We still have our range of healing spells, both direct and HoT's so I'm not really sure what you are asking? I don't think we have gained any healing abilities, just that the fury has lost some (not sure as I don't play a Fury)?
