I didn't want to bump any old threads, and this deserves a big discussion.

For my own personal playing style, I prefer INT over WIS. Reason being that I rarely if ever run out of power. Whether soloing, grouping, or raiding, in most cases the lowest my power can ever go is 50%. For the same reason, mitigation and STR are above wisdom when I am looking for gear. STA is good, and on many pieces, but as a healer I don't need it that high except on raids with AEs, and it's the only stat we can buff easily. AGI and armor lower than plate are the bane of my existence, because, I need to get hit while soloing.  While I love my DoTs and nukes, most damage comes from the reverse damage shields. The problem I am having now though, is that because everything else is higher than my wisdom, magic effects are having more devastating effects on me in tier 7, since my resists are so low.

So, keeping this in mind, I started looking for plate gear with INT, then WIS, then STA or STR. Unfortunately, the trend I found with inquisitor usable plate items focused on STR, STA, AGI, WIS. I wasn't able to find much with INT without AGI.  There are types of Xegonite that has these stats, but I wasn't able to find a lot other than that. Unfortunately the Xegonite has less mitigation that what I had.

Now while I understand that the game would be way too easy if everyone could max everything if and when they wanted to, I would like to see some plate armor that suits me as much as many other classes have armor that suits them. The Xegonite armor is a good idea, since just about everyone can have whatever they want.. Past that though, I need to get cloth, leather, or chain for the stats I need, which lowers mitigation and raises avoidance, which is not what I want.  I see a lot of tank gear with STR, AGI, STA, WIS and a lot of caster gear with AGI, STA, INT, WIS, and even gear for other priests with WIS, INT, STA, AGI. It is a lot easier for other classes and playstyles to find the armor for them.

What am I getting at you ask? Well, I'd like to see armor for Inquisitors that includes INT along with other stats. Including some Inquisitor only armor. If anyone has any good tips on armor that I am looking for, let me know please SMILEY

Not sure if you are part of a raiding guild or not but if you guys raided then you would be seeing gear with INT on it. As a matter of fact most of the fabled gear I have seen that drops from the raid mobs that is equippable by Inquisitors has WIS and INT and very good mitigagtion. So I would say that you need to raid more.

You're correct, I haven't raided much. I started playing EQ2 right before DoF came out, so I've been playing catch up since. I raided in EQ1 since naggy and vox, so I wanted to take (at least part of) eq2 slow to enjoy what it had to offer. But I'm probably gonna hit 70 soon so I'll probably look into raiding guilds and see some of that gear. Thanks for the response SMILEY

It would be a good test to do. I know that INT was the factoe for spell procs in EQOA so it is possible.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't raise proc %.  SOE has done a lot to keep those percentages under control.  It does raise proc damage to the same extent it raises spell damage.

I've seen the numbers on the procs raise with INT, but not the percentage.

And the day after making this post I found 3 pieces of armor with what I was looking for. ^_^

I also love int alot, next to raising wis, I heard ppl say the hoo'loh helm has the 3 most important stats for your class on it, then i got it and it has wis, sta and str on it...... was kinda dissapointing.
now im also a close to 70 armorer, so I made myself some xegonite armor, which is really nice because of the int and wis, further its useless so far till next update I hope (crap resists, seen bard legendary armor that has more mit then heavy Xegonite.....).

anyway, there are lots of nice jewels for us, like the wrist that gets dropped by the green dragon in palace, constable's bracelet, nice int and wis and also resists, but havent seen many armor with those stats, even godking priest weapon doesnt have wis and int, and also still no good replacement for the GEB, since it has int and wis and also flowing thought 5..... just soe slacking i guess
