Finally got a dev to acknowledge the issue. It's a start.

It's possible some other change affected player pets, but we'll have to investigate to be sure. Keep in mind that the change to NPC pet hitpoints was far more significant than what people are reporting in this thread.

I know this is an important issue for some of you, but it may take a bit of time to fully investigate this. As you might imagine, this week is a bit hectic. SMILEY

Maybe past experience made me a bit suspicious as to what the devs say in the forum ... but did anyone record HP before this nerf, now and hopefully after its fix? (through percentage based abilities or whatever)I wouldn't say that I don't trust them anymore ... oh well ok I don't ... but double checking things seems to have become a necessity in EQ2  :smileysad: Wouldn't want to end up with a "nerfed by 20% percent by "accident" to make players happy and actually enjoy a mere 10% nerf". Wouldn't be the first time to happen either ...

Yes, But for the time being I am atleast happy they have acknowledged the problem.

If they actually "fix" it or just nerf it less remains to be seen.

Yeah lol, this is only a important issue to some of us, the rest of us don't care that our pets HP have been reduced :smileyvery-happy:

"It's possible that some other change may have affected player pets..."

Lets see, if the majority of the necros/conjurers are complaining about their pets health dropping down than this has obiviously affected our pets.  Anyone remember the old saying "The customer is always right?"

I'll admit I'm a TAD leery about the 'take some time' statement..hehe I know it's a busy week for SOE though...and probably up to a week or maybe two after the expansion..after that I'm gonna be thinking ok it's TIME now...LOLI'm just really relieved it's finally been  acknowleged.  That lack of hps is PAINFUL for the average player trying to solo.  If they think we're doing too much damage, nerf our dps not our pets SMILEY (wait, they did, the dumbfires..mission accomplished!)  All alone out there in the wild world of baddies, and my pet is the only thing standing between me and a mouthful of dirt, I rely on her heavily she's my bestest friendSMILEY~Yira
