I've seen some talk about this on the boards and wondered what the rest of you felt about picking a necro rep to talk to the devs about all the bugs. This seemed to work well in SWG.

I don't remember it working very well in SWG... besides, all of our problems are listed right on the front page.  I don't see anything a rep could tell the devs that isn't located in the bug thread.

I agree 100% Is viewing this forum too hard for the devs?  With all hard work Jakanden and others did, couldnt someone just PM one of the dev's with a link? :smileywink:

It did work well with DAOC however so it is a viable option if done correctly. However, I would agree with the statement that all our problems are in that thread so there really isnt much of a need for one. I just wish they would sticky it =)

In swg a class rep was nothing more than somebody to take the heat from the players for all of sony's problems, while basically getting lip service from the developers. Alot of good people just up and quit after being class representatives, from frustration. I would not wish it on any of the people on this board.

Partly true, They did have a back channel to the dev's and even thouth not to much was fix'ed you knew the core of your issues were presented to them. Vs the hope that they read the thread on this board. The class rep was also able to present bugs in order of importance to the class. Who cares if the tank pet doesnt have anamations when he's running all over the zone to get back to his spawn point
