![]() same old same old crap actually. was raiding the halls of seeing last night and was totally reminded of the pet bug where he wont attack a mob if u are on stairs or a slight incline. now most times i guess u could just walk to "flat ground" but not in this zone. you've got traps to contend with and long flights of stairs . u run ahead of the MT and u prolly wipe the whole raid. i once even ran all the way to the top of the stairs (3-4 flights iirc) and tried to send the pet after the mob at the bottom and he still wouldn't go- which defies the logic. the frustrating part is, as a conjuror i am w/o my main DPS hes just standing around doing nothing. of course fighting epic x4 mobs dumbfires are just about useless

![]() If you're having trouble, you should be able to send your pet if you are at the same height as the mob. So just run on top of the mob, send pet, then run back.

![]() aye that usually works but the mobs in this particular zone have several ae's and frontal (conical) attacks would be sheer suicide prolly. besides why the hell cant it be fixed to work properly in the first place sheesh /sticks out his bottom lip and kicks a tin can

Standing on top of the mob in a raid zone is definitely not "ideal" for a squishie. This really should just work.

Try jumping next to the mob and sending your pet in. Even on the stairs, there is always a way. (Though, I agree with Banditman in that this should simply work, even if SOE needs to give us some kind of auto-debug way of pet attack)One other method, is getting right up the mobs anus and calling servant. With the recently shortened recaster and the fact that it pulls your pet literally on top of you, spamming attack will likely get you the result you desire. Also, if you feel that dumbfires are near to useless on a raid, you might want to consider re-rolling.--RaygoMistmoore Server

I agree that it should work properly. But until it gets fixed, running up, sending pet, then running back is the best you can do. And for what it's worth, I can't remember getting killed in HoS running in to send my pet. |
