Greetings all,

With the recent post regarding Yeddahd's Caduceus (which I promptly went out and acquired), I was wondering if anyone could tell me of any other great Conjuror gear I should aspire to get?  I'm a 48 Conjuror atm, but will be hitting T6 with a couple days.  Thanks in advance,

Here's essential gear that I carry at all times:* Yeddahd's Caduceus (obviously)* Fishbone Earring (Heritage Quest reward) - 12 hour instant-cast Enduring Breath* Manastone (Heritage Quest reward) - once-a-minute 150 power regen, similar to Shard of Essence, but unlimited use.* Bag of Sewn Evil Eye (Heritage Quest reward) - 20 slot 30% weight reduction bag.* a glowing azure shard (reward for gaining the trust of the Splitpaw Gnolls) - Call spell to Splitpaw Den* a lumious azure shard (reward for killing Anvilpaw in Splitpaw) - Lets you walk under water for 5 minutes* Horse or Carpet - the fastest you can acquire the better. In your 50s you can complete the carpet quest for a 40% carpet.* Imbued Wand - 8-second cast damage clicky for situations where I have no power left to cast spells. Woodworkers make them. Also, essential quests I completed:* Griffin Egg quests in Thundering Steppes and Nektulos Forest* Every Language Quest I come across. Many heritage quests require you to know non-player languages, including Giant, Goblin, and Dragon to name a few.* The Tie That Binds - Quest that lets you reset your Call to Qeynos/The Overlord spell.* Becoming A Resident of Ro - Quest that lets you get the Call of Ro spell. You need to get Kindly faction to any of the three Maj'Dul courts before you can get this quest.* To Speak As a Dragon - Actually I haven't finished this one yet, but knowing Draconic language has its uses.Optional fluff gear that I carry:* Terramite Shard of Transformation - Illusion Splitpaw Gnoll. Get it in the Heroic Splitpaw Arena (Level 50 and below if you group, or you can solo it in your late 50s)* Fireworks - Veterans rewards* Silver Charm - Illusion Vampire. Get it by completing most of the Bloodline Chronicles.* Combined Emblem of the Awakened - Illusion Droag. Collection quest reward, I forget which one.* Guise of the Deceiver - Illusion Dark Elf. Actually since my conjuror already is a Dark Elf, this one is useless to me SMILEYI want to do the Bag of Sewn Evil Eye heritage soon, as well.I tend to avoid listing level-specific gear in lists like this. For example, while an imbued cambric robe might be essential to a level 50 Conjuror, a level 70 Conjuror wouldn't even consider wearing it.

If you don't mind doing very, very long quests which include multiple big raids, then the Peacock Club quest series is worth doing once you're in your 50s. A lot of the rewards you get along the way are very nice Int items and the final rewards are excellent... such as:

http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/StaffofSecondLife.php

but to be frank, I couldn't justify the time and effort invested for the item itself - particularly because I can't bear those huge raids. You can get a lot of the nice Int items along the way solo/duo pretty much though, so it's still a good quest series to do some of.

Are you talking about gear you can get either solo or with a group?

Or about gear you would get with a raid?

Wow, let me first offer my thanks to both Xalmat and XtremSummons for their ideas.  I'll definitely look into all of those... one quick question: does the manastone still drain health, or does it just restore power?  Additionally, does it 'stack' with shard of essence?  By this I mean, if I use the manastone, is it one minute until I can re-use any power-restoring item, or are they all on separate timers?

And to Shakir, any type of gear, although preferably solo or group.  My guild is just getting in to the raiding scene, so it may be a while until I can acquire it, but it would be useful to list!

Also, I understand what you mean about level-specific gear, but I was hoping for anything 50+... even level 60-70 gear is nice to see, just to get an idea of what to look forward to.  I've already acquired an imbued cambric robe, and still have a T5 rare imbued wand... is it worth it to get a T6 one?  And what 'type' do you recommend?  Is any one better than another type?

Thanks in advance, you guys are great! SMILEY

Yes to both questions. Manastone drains health to restore power, and it has a separate recast timer from summoned shards and summoned hearts. Which means, if you are grouped with a Necromancer, you can have and use a Shard, a Heart, and your Manastone all at once SMILEYImbued wands, I always recommend the best one for your given level. For tier 6, that's Ironwood. As for the specific resist, that's personal preference, but as a Conjuror I recommend getting a Frost Imbued wand. Why? Most of our spells are Magic or Fire based, and few of them are Cold based. We can also debuff Cold via our Pet Symbol line. So, if you get stuck in a situation where Magic and Fire don't work, odds are Cold will, and you're gonna want your wand for that occasion.

not a quest but the different HEX dolls are good to have
Long cast time but you can pull with them and always nice to debuff Megic for our class. ( Hex of Chaos)

Plus for raids ,cast this first,  before sending in pet or nuking and you make sure you delay and give the main tank time
to get aggro.

While in your 50's, try to get a Keepers robe of Quiesence. (sp?) It drops from Poets Palace. It will last you into your 60's.Also, when you get into your 60's, get Grizzfazzles Walking Stick. Combine that with a nice off-hand item and it will be better than the peacock staff.

I totally forgot about Hex dolls. The clicky on Chaos Imbued hex dolls is invaluable if you are trying to solo a named.

In your 60s, the FT1 quested necklace called "Amulet of Sword Ro" or something similar is very nice. I will replace mine only with the Mark of Awakening.

A very good piece of gear: Beast Tamer cowl... Seems every lv50 caster has it. Very cheap on the broker and a nice INT score. The piece of gear I kept the longuest ever, short of the Golden Efreeti Boots that I still wear.

Prismatic+Tarton Wheel combo, replaced in your 60s with the Grizzlefazzle+Leggscon, or the Staff of Second Life if your Guild can kill Godking.

In your 60s: Mystical Orb of the Invoker from the elemental orb collection.

Draconolorum Grimiore, Wristplate of the Rancid, X'haviz Gown of Glory, Crest of the Hierodule all one groupable.I've been wearing GEB's since I could equip them . . . and nothing has even come close to replacing them for raids.  That said, there are definitely other boots in T7 that work for normal grouping situations.Constable's Bracelet very nice stats for Priest or Mage.  Narr Yora Bracelet even better stats, but lacks the resists.Qeynos Claymore quest line very nice in T7.

I stopped carrying the earring for waterbreathing.  Just use your aqeous stone spell, which has the added benifit of being given to others as well as yourself.

in tier 7.

Grizzfazzles Walking stick..  1-handed staff with +27 Int, +27 Wis and 10% chance to proc on hostile spell, heat damage, 300-500 range.

Collection Quest: Mystical Orbs (I think that is the name).  The reward is an earring with +19 Int (i think?) and 10% Chance to proc on hostile spell, heat damage, 300-500 range.

and of course the Dragon Girdle HQ.  More sweet +Int and +Wis and another 10% to proc on on hostile spell for more heat damage, I do believe.

Even with the spell proc changes this last update, Conjy's proc a good deal.  Everything is normalized for 2.5 second cast times... and most of our spells are 2second casts and we even have a few 3 second casts (which means an even higher then 10% proc chance... our single target stun+DD and Shattered Land line come to mind here).

Wow, again, a big thank you to everyone who has helped out and given me ideas.  I'm doing pretty well trying to get some good gear, and camping that darn staff in Living Tombs... still...

But, as I am approaching level 52 (70% there!), I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find Master's of spells such as Tellurian Myrmidon?  I've seen quite a few Conjuror's of late with the master version of this pet, and I was hoping someone could point me to either a post of where we can find our Masters or give me an idea.  I'm sure it will require raiding in many cases, but I'd appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks again in advance,
